1. I bought one just before Xmas. Slower than the chipper, but at end of day you have a saleable item. No good for leylandii etc. Instead of chip, I got 38 bags of a smallish sycamore. Am using it tomorrow on ash. Not a full time replacement for the chipper, but a useful item
2. Agree. I'd use it. Hope it works out
3. My nan, who would have been 116 this year, made the most amazing homemade bread. She delivered a loaf of white and a loaf of brown every Wednesday. By far, the best bread I've ever tasted. Far superior to a breadmaker.
4. I paid £70 at auction for mine. Came with about 50m of rope. About 15 years ago. Best £70 I ever spent
5. Haven't seen blue sky for about two months. Soaked this morning on slippery sycamore. Managed ok. Then it dried up, got colder and the wind got up. To be honest, it was easier working in the rain, than in the wind. Getting more and more sick of this weather. Worst rains I can remember. If it's too bad, then I just take the day off.
6. Well I've found the problem. Like spud said, I'd got the manifold on back to front. Problem sorted. Well done that man.
7. I've been on a couple. I like the informal cruises offered by Norwegian cruise lines. Eat when you want, with whoever you want. Been to Caribbean and canaries etc. Slept like a log, food stunning. Highly recommended. Don't stop off in Casablanca. It's a dump
8. A PM did the trick.
9. Thanks for taking the time to reply spud. I'll take a look tomorrow night and see if I can find the fault, based on what you've said.
10. One thing I have noticed, is when I remove the fuel cap and Rev the blower, there are lots of bubbles coming through the fuel inside the tank, and it splashes out of the open top. Not sure if this is normal.
11.
Hi spud, if you've time, I would appreciate you taking a look at my thread about my blower problem. I'm at a bit of a loss as to the problem. It's on general chat now. Any help appreciated

12. There is no vent in the cap. I've put a new carb on with new gaskets. Put a new fuel filter and new tank vent on. I've checked the fuel likes and they are clean, with no leaks. The blower will rev up from cold, then the revs just slowly die off. If I open the fuel cap, then the thing runs ok. I'm wondering if the new fuel vent is faulty. Am I missing something else.
13. I took a look at the fuel cap but could not find a vent in it. Is there one in a bg85?
14. Ok, I've got a bg85 blower. Had it years now. It will only run properly with the petrol cap unscrewed. I've changed the tank vent, checked the fuel lines to the carb. These are all clear. Replaced the fuel filter, and replaced the carb, and it's still got the problem. Any one any suggestions?
15. Never removed and replaced a tank vent before. Blower only works with fuel cap open, so presume it's the vent. Have replaced with new carb. So how do you remove the vent?
16. The Yorkshire dales is a bit remote, but I wouldn't want to move anywhere else
17. Will be watching when I can. What great entertainment. Would rather watch darts than football nowadays.
18. Windy and raining in the dales. This has been the worst couple of months I can remember for rain. Sick of it
19. I Heard that if you but fresh meat, you can request free bags, as meat has to be in a bag for health and safety reasons. Just meat though, if you put a packet of sweets in the bag, they can charge. Heard of an old chap, who's wife had caused uproar in her local supermarket about being charged for having just meat in a bag
20. This is utterly heartbreaking. When will the law clamp down on the scum who steal from others??? It's time that when caught and proved guilty, they should be sentenced to hard labour. I really mean that. This country's too soft on criminals. It doesn't matter what your own personal circumstances are. It's no excuse if your unemployed or on benefits. If I was in charge, I'd sentence them to hard labour, take away any assets, stop their benefits, and give them food vouchers to exist on. Thieving scum.
21. Really like my sip innovation. Just bought a spare pair. Most comfortable and light trousers I've had
22. Hiax blue ridge are a decent boot. I'm on my third or fourth pair.
23. River ure breaks record high at bainbridge
24. [/url Not sure if this link will work, but the video is taken today from where the third photo was taken
25. This was taken this morning, and the rains got heavier.
