  18. Im trying to track down the spur gear and bush that engages with the oiler. Its the older version with the 2 springs. Has anyone managed to buy one of these recently? Im having little luck. I think its part number 1124 640 750 Hugh
  19. You'd pick up a used 3120 for not too much money....
  20. Looking at the pictures, it looks like you have made some good decisions. Densely planting is the way to go as it will reduce the time till the canopy closes and thereby reducing weed control costs but also draw the trees up, giving you nice straight stems. Standard commercial forestry is usually planted at either 1.6 or 2m spacing so thats good. You will loose some but at least if you have them densely planted, the others are not too far away. Another suggestion is to keep a eye out as you drive around the local lanes as the road banks are often full of natural regen which make cheap beat up/fill in trees. Thats what I do in Ireland anyway. Have you thought about fertilizer too? As well as the weed matting/weed spraying, its another way to really get them going. H
  21. Im sure the huntsman went everywhere when you cut into that!
  22. How have they repaired that? Is it a complete roof off( and very costly) or can/has it been repaired cheaper? Thanks, H
  23. i managed to get a very good 084 off ebay for £375. If you can stretch, id do that. They are real monsters! There was another sold on this forum for £400 so they are about. H
  24. Im hoping to head out in january/feb too. Have you any definate plans yet as to what you're going to do out there? I havnt bar hoping to buy a vehicle when I land and then have a tour around. Hugh
  25. You can get a good 084 for roughly £400 off ebay (thats what I paid for the last two Ive had) and thats probabily your best bet I would recommend. Nothing compares to abit of power! H
