  1. The milling is once in a blue moon tbh.
  2. That's a picture from my nightmares!!!!
  3. The tree will survive and keep growing but it will snap out in a few years time as trees don't heal, they compartmentalise the rot, so it will look fine and dandy up top, get bigger and then Either wind or gravity will snap it out in a few years depending on growth and exposure. If you want to prevent that you will need to reduce and re shape and continue to do this so it will never make a magnificent huge tree, just a pruned lollipop !
  4. I hardly ever ring stuff up as I crane it or lift with the digger but I was on a job 2 weeks ago where I was using 5 litres a day with the 046, I just stuck it onto the job. I do have some milling to do with the 88 where you do have to consider fuel cost when pricing up for Sure!
  5. I had a week on the couch with that mate years ago, had to get it fished out with a needle!
  6. If I got a bucket truck I would see it as an added bonus rather than my main means of access and making money! On the right jobs I bet they save hours!
  7. How much is it? I'm not fussed about the price of Aspen, the benefits of not feeling awful when working far outweigh that imo
  8. you like a low stump mate!
  9. Seems like a good price to me, what make and model was it?
  10. Stormy and wild here, snow, sleet and rain too!
  11. Do whatever you want to do to make it easier, a small vice that's demoing able would work a treat, I know guys with them on their Chippers.
  12. I've never heard of that, I'm still using Aspen, I doubt I would change now. What's the Motomixs selling points?
  13. That's way too painful to watch, sorry!
  14. STIHL 0261 with 15" bar is my advice
  15. Make Hay on the sunny days and be bored on days like this with money in the bank! And find a good cafe, that always helps
  16. RIP Terry!
  17. Great work!
  18. Cracking finish as always Eddie! What do you do with the mulchings?
  19. Bungee choke fix from day 1 with mine! It would jump forward when working hard.
  20. If Hillbilly is the definition of a very well thought out all made machine, then I agree with you
  21. Nothing I haven't done myself!
  22. Check this machine out!
  23. My big Mog did 77mph!
  24. Front left tyres on mogs and tractors wear due to the road camber. If I've ever had a speed wobble it's the tyres.
