  4. Devon wildlife trust would be a good place to start, or the local fungi recording group: Welcome to Mycopages
  5. Sea gull populations have crashed to such an extent that they will soon become protected species, particularly herring gull. The main reason is bad diet- eatin too much junk food, which is causing heart attacks and high blood pressure. You are what you eat.

  7. Which part of Wales are you covering ?
  8. I have had the ecoburn7 for three years, and it is the worst stove that I have had. No matter what I do it won't stay in over night, and the air vent keeps falling off. Aarrow have been really unhelpful, and if it was not plumbed in I would have got rid of it by now.

  11. I have just fitted Gwaza 1800 lumin to the Zetor. Holy cow they are bright Very well made aluminum case, and uses stainless steel bolts Catalogue Page 79 in the catalogue. So impressed that i fitted a 600 lumin one to the back of the landrover.

  13. But surely Landrover =2.5 ton Trailer = .5- 1 ton Total = 3- 3.5 ton before anything is on the trailer. You are now above 3.5 gross train weight, and you will need a tacho to carry anything on your trailer. Sent from my GT-S5830 using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. I was offered £40 per cube for fencing material delivered, but as it turned out most was not suitable for fencing. You will probably be able to shift most of it for firewood, and that is going for £35 per cube roadside around here. You are going to have to go like the clappers to get it roadside and cover your costs, let alone make any money on first thinnings. What proccessing machinery are you using ?
  15. Add a few word in latin, and you can really baffle us. I work on the assumption that if my kids look at it and call it a tree, then it is probably a tree.
  16. Valves or rings
  17. Maybe it should be a look that your staff wear at the Arb show
  18. Pictures please. Sent from my GT-S5830 using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. Cheers Chris, i listed them as a B category, as they had no obvious signs of ill health, good form, and they will probably last another 20 years. I think it depends on wether you categorise a horrible palm as a tree or not
  20. What size binders are you after, and round or split ? Sent from my GT-S5830 using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. Cheers Dalton
  22. I recon that you have the wind blow cuts about right. The finished cut on oversized trees should have a stepped quarter standing proud on the butt if the root plate falls away from you, and on the trunk if the root plate falls towards you (tied off to stop you going splat).
  23. They look good in forgien parts, but not in wet windy west Wales. And i still think they look naff.
