  1. Holy cow peoples, i leave you alone for a while, and look what happens. Thankyou for all the input, luckily none of the trees onsite are beech or hornbeam. I am having as little as possible to do with this, as it is involving solicitors. But i think that i can now offer some helpful advice to the person concerned
  2. Cheers for the replies peoples.
  3. Trees range in size and distance, the closest is 6' away, and 15' in height. It is outside a frosted bathroom window. The furthest is 60' away, and 45' high, and is also the biggest.
  4. Evening Dean, have you tried: Terry Harrison |Fine turf | grass| firewood |forestry | machinery |small holding |Alpine Tractors |Pembrokeshire Not M4, but not far, and by all accounts very helpful and competitive on price
  5. Do you want delivered or are you picking it up ?
  6. A formula for the height of trees in relation to windows ????? A customer of mine has received a letter from next doors solicitor saying that the trees are too large and too close to their windows, and that by law they have to be taken down. I have not heard of this, and think that they are trying to pull a fast one. As usual helpful or other wise advice is appreciated.

  23. I tried square ground skip tooth, and did not notice any faster cutting. It was also an absolute git to sharpen. A skip tooth low pro I reckon would be the way forward if such a thing exists, and be much easier to sharpen.
