  1. Depends what you're paying your climbers I suppose. That would leave me £150 to run the job and kit for the day? Unless I'm wrong. It's happened before.
  2. 258 jobs like that and it's big money Kev. This time next year...
  3. Probably this. A 17mm socket and a dose of common should sort this out.
  4. It never went out in the part of Northumberland I'm from Mick.
  5. I'd be proud of the reduction in pic 1 John. So many people are selfish enough that they don't leave an anchor for future climbers.
  6. Must get over there when I'm next up at Easter. Magic place.
  7. I'd definitely recommend rec climbing some big trees for fun when you're not under any pressure. Medium work trees will then begin to feel smaller and easier. Nowt wrong with checking though, keep doing that!
  8. Not too far off topic, can anyone recommend a retractable hose that doesn't cost a fortune? I'm bloody sick of hose coils cluttering my workshop. Takes up more room than the compressor!
  9. Slight flare at the butt there. I would have straightened that up prior to felling.
  10. There's also the old 'returning the arisings' option.
  11. You'd be climbin' the freakin' walls Sgt. Barnes!
  12. The money does seem poor, but I bet it's a right cruisey job, and there's loads of holiday.
  13. I had a play with Rich's 150 a couple of weeks back and can confirm it is a little animal.
  14. Really enjoyed that Blaisey, loads of good tips. You've got a great presenting style as well!
  15. That's more like it. Thank you.
  16. Tight spot Matty, top marks. What's the tune? My kind of music.
  17. Can you refrain from talking sense please Rover, this is a chainsaw thread. I have informed the moderators.
  18. PM me. I'll offer £10 and a pint at the show of your choice.
  19. +1. If you still get on with him it should be fine. If you're treading on his toes it's a bit more complicated.
  20. The lass in pic1, have you got her number?
  21. I cleaned out the toilet blocks for the British Army at Otterburn Camp for 6 weeks before I went to Uni. That was a crap job.
