    Crash Bang

Nice job Tom, wish they could be all like that! Must of been a pain for ya groundie though.
  2. Always makes me laff, the amount of people that ask me about the stump that have been told to "drill holes in it and fill it with diesel" for some reason they think its just going to rot away in a few weeks. Grinding or digging out is the only way, but i dont do digging unless there small conny stumps, if they insist on digging out charge double then they will see grinding as the cheap option.
  3. Could well be right Dean, stop using the oil of ulay on a night and ya skin might harden up a bit and stop looking like a babys arse. i get the builder ones with the rubber palm bit from the local machinery auctions, £10 for a dozen pairs and change em on a regular basis.
  4. Any time Andy, all ways a pleasure to help. DONT go fishing today mate if you do take your arm bands and a rescue diver..........
  5. Suppose leaving standing dead wood near buildings give us blokes a place to have a waz against as we stagger home after a heavy fri/sat night!
  6. Sorry to hear Andy, had a good week here, been really busy and got paid up with no cock up to boot......
  7. Very nice looking thing that. i would rather see a new young tree growing there but each to there own!
  8. As whats been said really, ya hinge is crap and why try to"top it out" next to a road and a leccy cable? just dismantle. you didnt take into account the type of wood you were working on also, that alone can be fatal! But you biggest mistake of the day was, taking the job on, YOU DIDNT HAVE TO DO IT COS YOUR DAD SAID!, your the one up there not him. I would walk away if the money and man power were not right. You could of ended up in prison for killing someone just because your dad priced it wrong! also get some insurance. Brave for posting and i hope all goes well in the future.
  9. Nice one Simon, Don't ya just want to die when that happens.
  10. I had AHS on the phone today, am considering it, min of 27t, load myself and max moisture content of 50% 3-9 pound a ton. gonna give it a go and see what happens i think.

    Up in Smoke

Well she's goosed good and proper now Tom. big fat insurance claim coming me thinks! gonna get more common aswell due to the amount of electronics in machinery nowerdays. had a Jhon deere combine go up last year near me due to electrice!
  12. agree to an extent, but when it all goes @its up and HSE get involved the first thing they will ask for is records of training, quals, paperwork etc. Any one can say they have loades of "experiance" but it might be the wrong experience and they be totally useless.
  13. totally agree with you jonny.................
  14. You want all that for 16-20k i can think of easier and better jobs for that money, so much for dedication to the industry.

    Hedge trimming

Same here, hate em but it's money and makes a change sometimes. nice job there Rupe, well done.
  16. I nearly got one 18 months ago but got messed around by the dealer so went and got a greenmech 220 instead, am pleased with the greenmech, well build and it can shift some stuff, the only thing is it's heavy compared to a tinnywolf, for domestic only or for occational use a 125/150 is a good machine, but were doing commercial aswell now so a 125 probably wouldnt last that long, there again greenmech do simular and are better built IMO! will consider one next time though.

Was it coloured grout? It makes all the differance you know, blends into the tree alot better and looks so much more professional. Did you do it yourself? thought you might have got a tiler/grouter into do it!
  21. Been using a 192t along side the 200 for 2 years now, 192 is a cracking saw, not quite a pokey as a 200 but lighter.
