  1. For that sort of money i wouldnt bother, re MOT it and push for top dollar for the bike. Leave bad feed back to the buyer and move on.
  2. Tart it up and sell it to one of those old guys at country fairs who wear flat caps..... I wear a flat cap cheaky tw@t and i aint that old!...........
  3. Ring them up and ask, i think they sent me the stuff through the post, costs 150 quid for 3 years if i can remember rightly.
  4. same here, no kit left in van unless one of us it there and when we get to the job all kit is taken to where we are working, even if we dont need it till the next job, bit of a pain in the ass but its too risky to leave on view.

Sorry to hear all this guys! please lock all your stuff up, it's going to get a lot worse from now till exmas what with the dark nights and the fact that the scum need money so they can treat the next generation of theivin gypo at christmas. I seen a cabstar today with Leeds based tree surgeon written on the side and a mobile number........best of all he was towing his caravan!!!!! nearly pissed me self.

    thanks chaps, Stevie, next time im Deano's way i might get it of him and have a play and see for myself, thanks for the offer mate, if i take it i will sort you out at the next show we go to. Jonny, so you always DO IT BY HAND do ya, bet you can swap between hands mid stroke aswell!

  13. Looks nice but not really any good for arb work as it does not tip, couldnt be doing with having to shovel chip out all the time, good for a gardener though.

  16. Last one i took down i gave to a local turner in exchange for some bowls etc Turners seem to love the stuff, but the crap that comes out is bleedin awful:thumbdown:

  19. Sorry to hear mate, im getting twitchy again after getting done twice last year, darker nights and not far from christmas...........it's the thieving season ok. Lock every thing up the best you can from now till late spring as its going to get A LOT worse yet. Hope you get ya stuff back mate.
  20. Just wonderd how many of you lot use files as you main sharpening tool, any of you use the bench mounted grinders at home? are they any good? i know in the field you have to use files but was toying with getting a leccy bench grinder to make it a bit quicker...............or am i gettin lazy?

  22. Lantra has just as much clought IMO and it's only the chipper course. Also the lantra is one day if im right where as NPTC is a assesment on another working day!
  23. Recently somebody told me that you are supposed to wear a ballistic jacket when working from a mewp, anybody got a definitive answer? why do you need a ballostic jacket, you dont when you climb! Done a few MEWP jobs a few weeks back and no jacket. Why you taking a gun up a tree anyway?
  24. Good day out Jonny, been a few times with the klan, always have a good time. Food is usual expensive crap though. not sure on prices as "er in doors" saves the tesco card points thingys so we go free, 20 quid an adult rings a bell though. most of the rides are free just the odd thing to pay for when your in.
