  1. :001_tt1:never really been a timberwolf fan but each to there own i guess, i run a tunnisen on a turn table, real heavy duty, big bearings etc been a spot on machine will have another. good luck with what ever you buy.
  2. the logs are split Dean so should be ok thanks.
  3. Thanks guys, got a meter now and its down to about 22% so should be ok. got it all wrapped up nice and snug!
  4. No they reccoment 50/1 as they have too as dealers but run all there stuff on 25/1. i would rather have the stink than blown saws though. get in a nice conifer and let 1 go after a good strong curry the night before ya can't tell any way!
  5. I got a Titan 26 ton splitter, there ok for the price typical chinese stuff really, thin paint and copy engines but its powerful works spot on and good money and towable. the 1 hand thing is great, so fast compared to the 2 handed machines but you have to be on the ball, bit of common and your ok.
  6. did an 064 in last year due to lack of oil, i only use stihl aswell. stihl dealer re built saw and said go to 25/1 we run every thing on it, and never have a problem, had 3 blown says this week! 50/1 is a way of making them cleaner for the euro bods. also you never quite get every last drop of oil out in to the can so your probably running 52/1. run 25/1 stihl and no problems now.
  7. seen one on ebay, looks the same as the maplin one for about the same cost. what's the max moisture content you would let fire wood go out with, i guess the less the better but what % will it happily burn at.
  8. i have one, great saw not quite as pokey as the 200t but cheaper and almost as good.
