  1. Had mine done 4 years ago, house is a lot warmer in winter with out a doubt, its subd through the company doint it, so if they quote you say 300 quid thats what you pay, the actual joy might be 500 quid the gov pay the company the other 200, thats how it worked for me anyway. well wort it IMO
  2. Had a good couple of days, good to meet a few peeps off here, really enjoyed it.
  3. I got a BG86 18 months ago and its brill, can't fault it and as Bob says very smooth......just like me:001_tongue:
  4. I have had finance on a chipper last year now sold it cos i got one cash and just got a new to me 53 plate tipper on finance both with no problem, no books to show nothing, as a sole trader and a home owner its against your home so finance is no problem, if your LTD thats a differant storey.
  5. I have used the non gen patten pot and pistons from ebay and there spot on, i have no worries about using non gen parts.
  6. Two bowls this morning mate, ready to have a witty day:001_tt1:
  7. Think Dean was casing it out so he can pop back in late summer and swipe the strawberrys!
  8. what about the other leg aswell!
  9. Having 16 stone of idiot on spikes normally does it
  10. Spot on, it's just so easy to speed in moden vehicles, not indicating get my goat aswell, think it's cos we ride bikes Dean, you see so much bad driving when on the bike.
  11. Speed cams do not promote road safety, they make people brake harder near them and don't take into account non insured drivers, drunks, drug drivers etc etc, have more coppers on the roads, they can tell the differance between a pissed driver and someone going 5mph over the limit.
  12. MMMMMMM Tiger, i do love you in braces! Just voted for ya Mike Oh you fittie:001_tongue:
  13. I would of done it, but at a good price! thing is you can all ways "prune" with a stihl cut off saw from the bottom of the gatso:sneaky2: i have had this urge for years now to "total" a gatso, it's getting stronger and nearer to that day.
  14. Thought you would of bought it Dean, looks a nice lite little say to hang off ya ladders:001_tongue: Reported it also.
  15. Can make your own for a fraction of the price though, the other thing to take into account is to make it worth while you really have to use used oil, if you use new oil (easier) by the time you have added the catylist (methanol) it's almost the same price as fossil derv. used oil has to be washed a few times, this is where the mucking about comes in.
  16. Bio runs cleaner so you have to change filters the first time sooner than normal but after that is as per service time. fossil diesel is dirty compared to bio and running bio actually cleanes the engine and fuel lines.
  17. I did a lot of research in to this last year and even built my own processor, it's fairly easy to make but is a bit more involved than what people think more so if using used oil but it can be done at home. the older non TDI engines run better on it as there not as highly strung as the moden engines. To be honest if you want to save a few pennies buy 20lt drums of new cheap cooking oil and pour it into the tank 70/30 with diesel and it will run ok.
  18. very nice Dean a reet proper job that.
  19. Well done both, aint arbtalk brill!
  20. Great news, as you know mine ended up on flebay 6 months after it was nicked......
  21. With the tractor ones Dean is it better to have a PTO with it's own pump or one that runs off the tractor hydraulic pump or don't it make any differance? looks a good bit of kit, has it been reliable and how long you had it?
  22. It's called Black horrible paint and you get it from a black horrible paint shop:001_tongue: sorry cant help.
  23. Some good points there Dean, there is normally 2 of us splitting and i wouldnt leave someone else on there own with it so im ok with the H&S thing. im attracted by the simplicity to be honest (like the mrs was before anyone else chips in) there seems bugger all to mess with and go wrong. what hydraulic splitter you got? and has it been good?
  24. same as If your topping up with the track out when you pull em in the tank will be over full.
