Im quite lucky aswell, my lass is a ward sister in Leeds and earns quite good money, both kids are at school and we can servive without me bringing that much in (just basic living mind) Always good to have another iron in the fire though, from what i know Dave re the grass cutting from guys that do it is that to make good money you need to be doing LOTS of it, a bit like the fire wood thing really, try doing a bit of landscaping as i do with a guy round me, Lots of irons in lots of fires, you soon find what works and what don't.

  4. Great views Stevie, used to get up your way regular on the bike, great biking country, used to go up to Ullerpool way up the top. No coppers, speed careras and no cars and caravans was biking heaven. Next time might call in far a brew:001_smile:

  6. Those figures seem about right joe, its based on the aminety value of the said tree or so i believe, better ask someone like Tony sorenson as he is a tree officer but there is no set fine.

After a while you get to know what to be warey of and the areas you work, if i get a job i always check conservation areas and if its any thing of any size i check for TPO's If in doubt check it out! Never believe clients either. Also its not always the tree's you think will have a TPO on either, took a mankey old pine down last year with a TPO on, couldn't believe it was TPo'd

Well done mark, been 3 years for me and the best thing i have done, i feel so much fitter now but it is still hard sometimes dont drop your guard or you will be back on em. the thing that gets me now is the smell..........cant believe i used to smell like i did, fags stick.......and when someone talks to me after havin a fag makes me want to throw up. think its better for customers aswell, not stood on a door step stinking of fags........

  18. A few pics of my steed, zx12r a1 unrestriced version, had it on the dyno 18 months ago and got 168.2 bhp in stock trim, 180 with pipe and power comando both at the wheel. i swear it's turbine powered. never going to sell it next will be a BMW GS1200, be a bit easier on my bitch.
  19. sometimes the oil cap pops of covering me in chain oil, what am I doing wrong and has anyone had this happen on 200t? Pete mcsheffrey has this problem, ends up all over his ropes

  21. never had a claim with them, my chipper is as you say insured as a specified trailer however they have all the details of the machine, serial number, model number etc etc and they know its a wood chipper so i dont see a problem, insurance companys are all sharks anyway and i dont trust any of em but in this day and age you have to have it even if you have to fight to get a claim out of em.
