  1. i use this for 90% of the work i do, good rope for the money, i very rarely drag out the 16mm 12mm Marlowbraid lowering rope | F R Jones and Son
  2. They will be fine leave them. i use to climb on a poly prop on a three knot system to set the winch wire or cut off branches years ago then got the modern 3 strand nylon and a separate endless loop, the devils work...
  3. your right, then steal all your jewellery, watch, wallet and car keys. they are the reincarnation of satan himself!! i like them

  7. Did you prune the trees with a machete you boys have a few of them. whats more disturbing is you have a ski mask, visa still stop you when you drive past with 3 ton of chips on the transit, regardless if they can see your face or not
  8. Shocking!! how did they get the full unit were the keys in it? or have they hot-wired it ? hope you get a fast settlement from the insurance.

  11. I missed an oppertunity there Ben.
  12. Result, did you give the big shake of your head and draw air through your teeth " massive technical job mate, i will need to go back to the drawing board with this one" then just go to the bakers and come back an hour later with a "plan".. cool job though Tim, like the zip tie breakaway idea.
  13. If you don take it at that price I'm sure there would be a massive queue and id be in it!! I would have took it there and then in case he changed his mind. HGR i think thats for the woods only ( legally…)
  14. So timmy, that high line rope was there as a safety line in case the tree failed, but it was fine so if you were not such a big poof you could have just spiked up and hacked bits off ? This would have saved you the time faffing about running that rope. Agree?

Tom, i get that but my mate gets his chassis galvanised ( where you left your tractor) its a couple of hundred quid, he will strip the full motor and build it back up in a week. Im not doubting the work thats been put into it but i still find the prices far too expensive for what they are. But if you are willing to pay it, knock yourself out

what all new parts? or other 25 year old bits on this motor. its not a dig at your mates land rover i just find it incredible the price they hold.

  25. I've always been asked on a commercial policy is the vehicle sign written, i assumed they were classing that as a modification or it makes it more appealing to thief's as you are advertising what kind of tools are possibly inside, either way they are looking for you paying more or not paying out.
