    Uh-oh

    Knobs
  2. The 372xp is a good saw and well balanced with a 20"bar, it can be moded to the moon and back. I've got experience in this as i've owned 5! The 576xp is a good saw also. I've hammered it for a year with no probs at all. I would say that the 576xp has better anti vibe and bit more grunt as last week i got caught out and ran my 576 with a 36"bar in beech and i was actually suprised at how well it did... I wouldn't go for the auto tune version, but thats just my preference. The MS441, i've had a couple of these aswell, and moded them for people. These are well put together but they dont have the performance of a husky.

    576xp

Hi all Finally got around to getting myself a husky 576xp (not the auto tune). I put a 24" bar and LP chain on it, and i've used it all day to buck ash and oak saw logs, and so far i can report that it is very smooth in the timber, i.e. the anti vibes are excellent!!!!! And it has a good power curve As some on here might know, i do quiet a bit with chainsaws, and out of the box i am honestly impressed with the 576xp Yes i know it will get better with the more fuel, more use etc etc, but just wanted to drop a quick note of how good i thought it was! It will now go with the rest of my collection, 346 old school, 346 new, 372xp, 372 xpg, 390xp, 880 stihl, 575xp and ms181 for carving with dimetip I'll take some pics tomorrow with the saw in action! P.S. i'd go as far as saying the 576xp is a better saw than the 372, but thats just my thoughts so far!
  20. Hi it will run from 18"to 44" bar i think its 1Kg heavier give or take. most of the time it pulls a 36" with skip chain..
  21. yes i have 390xp and yes it gos like sh#t off a shovel but it has had a lot of work done..
  22. 372xp good saw i have six of them and they all work hard for me in the woods..ms441 is a good saw as long as your are not cutting to its limits in hard wood..
  23. Hi Mozza when is your saw coming to wales for a little holiday??
  24. I run a 390xp it will pull a 42"bar and it goes like stink 576 will struggle on a 30"bar but if you use skip chain it will be ok..both are good saws
