I really like robDs website as a hint... select manufacture, select saw, length then choices are shown of bar make, light/normal etc. Might be good to add a link so when you have selected your bar, a pop up with "need chains? Yes/no" select yes and a couple of chain options come up fitting your choice-eg Stihl/Oregon semi/full chisel, then same for files

It'll probably do the job....but i would get frustrated with it. Looks heavy for a start, not keen on the steel with powder coated finish, no "skidders" on the clamps-can see it catching the bark and grabbing the mill, no proper handle, don't like how the uprights attach to the rails to make it adjustable, no rails included with the upright mill, thats my take from looking at the pictures compared to using my alaskan mills. Looks like you're "saving" about £100, or just one decent board! Go alaskan

I find it strange that a European citizen, working in another euro country, is only allowed to work upto 6months a year before having to pay tax in the country he's working rather than home country, yet an American is allowed to do it for upto a year?? Kinda goes against the idea of the European trading ideas Email Skatteverket, the swedish tax office, tell them EVERYTHING and believe ONLY what they say

The pic of the new ford ranger looks pretty cool, not a fan of any of the current or previous rangers styling, shame about the 2016 hilux, quite a disappointment in that picture. I'll hopefully be going for a new 3.0 hilux in may. Looks good, but still feels like a workhorse rather than a show pony, holds its value stupidly well here. 2nd place would be a v6 navara but not keen on the auto gearbox in that, never seems to make its mind up of what gear to be in, nice to drive and cruise about in though, v6 sounds nice too. Not a fan of the ranger/mitsi/isuzus looks. Amorak just don't like it, tiny motor, noisy and agricultural when flooring it, skittish on gravel roads.

Just a little tip for fishing out crap from your eyes is rizzla papers, very soft, doesn't dissentergrate and firm if you twist it up. You can literally stroke your eyeball with them.

Eddy, why is it my local dealer and even the newly opened husqvarna concept store have them in stock for sale, and have done for a while (local dealer that is) yet you say they're not available here until May???

Took an Ash down today, cold biting wind, beach house underneath, garden lamp, and an old rickety fence to avoid, bit of smash and crash, bit of rigging. Pictures are journey to site (about an hour away), work in progress, journey home. nice easy day, enjoyable little job with an efficient crew. Thats an 088 with 4ft bar on the stump

That's my take on them too-went from the 6" safetrac to a 190 Varitrack and the greenmech was on par if not better than the bigger tw. The safetrac system is fantastic

I read (so am not in any way certain) that the mark 7 had started in 2005, had 2 facelifts and then a model update in 2013, as i understand facelifts are cosmetic, the difference between the pre 2013 and post 2013 are more significant cosmetically, but the interior is very similar, same shapes ect. If the engine and the like are unchanged then its quite old imo. Still the 2014 model is extremely nice imo/ime

Do you know any more about the 2015 model? Or any of you who's been to the dealers recently? any more rumours? Ive been set on getting a new 3.0 Hilux in May, but the current model has been about for 10 years now, which is a long time in the car world and the limited info online suggests bigger, comfier, more power, better mpg, higher tow rating...but no date or solid info, very little really....

Yeah easy with a puller but not so without, tried levering it off but didn't want to break it (plastic) so Martins sending me his puller Rigging an elm, had a rigging rope which was far too short (block just over half way up the tree) so kinda snatching branches and timber onto the line, didn't need full control, just enough to pull the timber and branches in to avoid lamp posts and a new foot path. groundy letting it run to the floor. had the 46 sitting in the main forks for the big wood, using the 200 on the long branches, one 8ft long 15" dia lump of wood, the ground didn't let run, went into the saw like a battering ram. He said he knew the saw was there, didn't know why he didn't let it run, just forgot, very apologetic, no ones fault imo just one of those things. Some pics of the Job
