  2. i tryed it with my u900 and tp760. mounted on a 3pl so was 2foot infront of the bumper. couldnt blow over the cab and was too heavy on the front axle so never really worked

  4. are you putting anything on top of if? i dont know where you are but type 1 around here is £10 a tonne delivered so you wont buy many tyres for £50 your choice tho
  5. handeling and haulage are different things.

  8. you need to watch you distance from home. the restricted o licence is easy enough to comply with so why not? use it as a selling point with your customers!
  9. if its a 4 cylinder 35 then it'l be a pain to start if its just ticking over on a prosesor. from what iv heard the 4 cylinder was ok as long as in was worked hard regulary hense why the 3 cylinder was thought to be the better one
  10. i dont think they made many 770s. i think iv a 770 back end sitting here but im not a DB buff so could be wrong

  15. i should have been clearer i was meaning landrover and trailer v 7.5 tonner
  16. your landys will carry / tow as much if not more than the 7.5 tonner so youd need to go to a 18 tonner to be worth all the paper work
  17. on the subject of mirrors has anyone fitted extra mirrors for reversing trailers around near side corners, the same as trucks have?
  18. well dont paint it the same colour as mine is there linkage on the rear for a chipper etc
  19. looks a nice mog steven youl find having a crane on the mog great, and having it at the rear would be better than where mine is just behind the cab. has it had the om366 engine fitted (i think my yellow one had this fitted at the factory but the white one i had before had the om352 even tho they were made in the same year) have you tried the winch? is it slow? are you keeping it black?
  20. I tried to report the serial number from a stihl hedge cutter i had stolen 6 months ago. My local stihl dealer said there is no register for this, very poor show if there is no system for dealers to check all machines that come in for servicing.

HSE has banned the production of semi-automatic quick hitches now (the ones with the saftey pin) and i think new quick hitches (manual and automatic) need to lock the top and bottem pins i found this out after driving 2 hours to site and ended up sitting for 7 hours waiting for a second machine to turn up to do an hours work
  22. the 760 is more than 6" im sure A T Osborne will soon tell you the difference the 760 must be a fair age by now. check its hse complient
  23. are the pulleys running in line with each other? also you get standard belts and you get kevlar belts (i think ) for high stress jobs
  24. Yes when you concrete posts in do you put concrete in the bottom of the hole to spread the weight? oh i dont do decking, just dont like the stuff
  25. what about just chapping your uprights in to ground as far as you can? iv seen plenty round here like this how would this compare?
