  1. rockinger is the best for towing, keeps the power / load all in a straight line (if you know what i mean) remember youl need a few ££s to get a decent trailer. id be spending extra and getting one with a hiab on the front if i was you
  2. Power wise your mog will tow 10tonne. wont be the fastest tho. if your chipper sits high enough you may can get a long drawbar underneath it good luck with whatever you do. its going to be wrong, it always is:lol:
  3. iv got some green scaffold net up. its been up maybe ten years. the bits that are fixed right are still ok. the other bits that were only fixed at the top are a bit ripped now.
  4. is there an anual subscription ect with this one?
  5. years ago i had an ivor with those 13" tires on them. had loads of problems with them. traded it in after 2 years and the next trailer came with 12" wheels (same over all diamater just more rubber on the side walls) problems all sorted with the different size tires
  6. riddle buckets are a pain tbh id say the bark fallng of is a sign of good dry firewood and your customer is getting some free kindling
  7. its a bit foolish of the seller to post the serial number of the trailer
  8. id say you need to know whats wrong with it before you try moving it. might be something simple that a bodge would get it out of there
  9. sgm maybe close. think theyv just opened a big shop
  10. on my u1250 theres a connectine straight to the hydraulic tank. altho this goes threw the filter so is slightly restricted. my post chapper works fine of the spool valves tho
  11. you could always hire me in with my mog, hiab / trailer setup for some of your larger jobs
  12. i think someones drop a pebble into your toy farm steve?
  13. something like this one? http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/picture-forum/8695-mog-pics-swb.html
  14. you'd be a lot cheaper to just swap the crane and leave it on the trailer. i have a crane just behind the cab on my mog. yes its handy but it wont reach the back of me trailer (to lift on from the rear). also remember your mogs wheel base is that short that the support legs may not support it enough when you lift infront of the cab i take it you dont chip into the back as it really wont hold much with a crane on:001_smile:
  15. dose anyone know how the grinders do on 3 tonne machines? the one trouble i see is diggers are very wide compared to stump grinders.
  16. keep your transit as a second motor for the smaller / further away jobs and get a mog for the rest
  17. what weight will be in that one? what you going to use it for?
  18. if its only for the odd half hour then id look around at other makes. youl get as good / big strimmer for a lot less than a stihl. course the choice is upto you but i like the biggest kawasaki
  19. i tryed this stuff Rust Off, Phosphoric Acid, Rust Remover and Descaler - Acids & Alkaline | Bonnymans it seamed to do something to the rust anyway but this was only 2 months ago so too early to tell how good it is. i waxed oiled it the day after i treated it.
  20. yep its been lieing there for ten years doing a good job as a shed. the chassie broke and we stopped using it as the steering wheel kept getting closer to your legs as you drove it
  21. iv got just the motor your looking for. this one would keep you bizy
  22. If its knackered then take (or get someone who knows about such things) it to bits your about to buy a new 1 so you cant make it any worse iv heard the brushes stick:001_smile:
  23. so what weight is that dumper? it looks the exact same as my 3 tonne dumper that will weight less than 2tonne. how many folk on here can honestly say they'v never overloaded a vehical before? i certinly cant!!!
  24. forgive me but im not really getting this. are you shoveling up from the ground? on concrete? are you using a procecor or a log splitter and could you load straight from this into the bag being held by the skid steer? when your talking about loading your funnel with a digger it would have to be a big machine to reach up to there. your best way will depend on your machinery and site. i have a big funnel but only really use it for bagging stone chips etc not for firewood. i either load into telehandlers bucket or straight into bag from my table saw.
