  3. theres not much to split charge systems. basically what you want to do is use the supply to the red battery light to work a relay that links your batterys together. ei when the light goes out there linked and charging both batterys
  4. heres some not so healthy sycamores. the strong wind we had a month or so ago has fairly hit them hard.

  12. for £12 / hour i wouldnt be worrying to be honest. if you want to work that cheap then you wont be short of work.
  13. My ears arent that big!! or are you's talking about a different muff?
  14. i ware a blue tooth ear peice all day to save that dash for the phone and missing customers calls. altho it means you always end up answering these unwanted calls. i had one bloke blethering away in my ear for an hour as i was spraying weeds once (think i may have been lonely lol)
  15. yes iv got the honda engine so i couldnt comment on the mitsibishi (there both japan made to so youd think theyd be ok) might be worth shopping around. i found this COMMERCIAL CHIPPERS - Shredders / Chippers UK there really isn't much to the wee chippers, engine, 2 belts, 2 bearings, 2 blades and a bit of bin beating and thats it.
  16. all the micro chippers dont really like dead woody stuff. there far better with connifers etc. that chipper looks blunt compared to mine. also the branches sticking out the side are holding it back i bought a GTM and im certinly not dissipointed with it.
  17. do you mean hydro spring? rev it up and youl see what i mean
  18. i thought every tank over 200 litres had to be bunded for fuel? i had to change my diesel tank last year because of this
  19. hi Matt these folk do miles of fencing all over scotland, might be worth a try. im fairly sure they'v a tracked dumper with post driver mounted, handy kit Alter Landscapes
  20. its all to do with the size of your plumbs the bigger the number the bigger the plumbs only joking i run a u900 and na maybe thats right only joking its basically a relation to the horse power. ie U1000 = 100hp, u1600 = 160hp (altho thats not quite true as the u1600 can be upto about 210hp ish) also the 50 or L on the end of the number means its a long wheel base
  21. now theres something you dont see every day! green traffic cones
  22. how different is the 90 to the 110? we (2) dropped the tank and put it back in in under an hour on my 110 a month ago there was only 4 nuts and 2 jubbilee clips to undo, drop the tank, twist a bit and undo the 4 fuel pipes (push fit things) once the tanks out the sender / pump unscrews a bit and lifts out of course they may be totally different
  23. welcome to the forum i have enough poles here. im at north ayrshire il pm you my phone number
  24. Garith you can dump it at mine if you want but in not really north glasgow
  25. ye its ok id say, as in you push branches in 1 end and it shoots out the other lol im certinly happy with it. i paid around £2600 inc vat for an ex demo one. i think from memory thats a good bit cheaper than the rest and it had the better engine in my opinion. originally i was wairy of buy such a small chipper but they do let you work really efficiently. ideally youd have a bigger engine and maybe the 18hp green mech would be better and save you having to feed in big bits slowly. (this causes a lot of vibrations to your fingers) whatever machine you get you need to keep the blades sharp.
