  3. Hi Jon not sure how well your kit would work on a td5 as they have a fly by wire throttle so the hand throttle won't, fit mine has a power on demand box so I can set the revs.
  4. I run a splitter off my td5 with the husky hw14 setup same as your pic and it works well. (Better than the old leyland tractor I used to use). My splitter has a 4.5" or 5" ram and speed is almost too fast in 4th gear. I'm sure all my pipe work etc is 1/2" On big rings I do have to remove the 4 way split attatchment to avoid the occasional stuck log which just slows the job down, and it wears me out nibbling at the edges (I'm not a big lad). I can only think of one fault and that's that it brings a tear to my eye splitting logs on white diesel.
  5. May be worth checking between the servo and master cylinder I had a flake of rust jam the rod on the master stopping it returning causing the same symptoms only found it when I went to change master after new hoses etc. this was on my 2000 reg smiley. Was just enough to cause fronts to start to bind heat did the rest would be fine once parked up and ccooled down and checked but a few miles driving loaded would soon have them binding. Hope you get it sorted.
  6. Not to distract from the op's topic but if you interested in hot water from chip this vids worth a watch. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVCaczil4W4]Jean Pain - The power of compost - YouTube[/ame]

  8. Hi all i am in desperate need of a cs45 training course or someone with this qualification. Does anybody know of a training course available. Due to start a contract next week and i know nobody with this qualification as most of us are climbers i have always seen this as a course for groundies who dont climb. H&S guy thinks otherwise we were told all qualifications were in order a a few weeks back 1 working day before work starts they have come back with this.
  9. Cheers for replys its in rotherham but cs45 is needed am afraid i am not sort on climbers but would happily have another if they had the qualification. I just have to have someone with a cs45 on site.
