  1. That's what i was thinking. Move the decimal point one place and it would be more like it.
  2. I'd probably switch to gas if I were you Thing with these things is they build up slowly in your body, with who know what possible health problems in later lift. So what's the best way to get rid of them? I've got a big Laurel hedge on my property.
  3. Don't you think that would drive you round the bend Seriously it does look good. I'm going to be adding a new concrete floor and will be adding some Y anchors Y anchor - the Ultimate Motorcycle Security Ground Anchor These look pretty good too Security Product Detailed Information
  4. Lot of new diesels don't even have them these days. All they have is an electronic dipstick. Probably OK for most, but very inconvenient when doing an oil change.
  5. Town and Country stretch 3D are pretty good. Come in a range of colours and they also do a rear to match.
  6. For those interested, the preliminary AAIB report was published today. S3-2015_G-BXFI.pdf
  7. Sure they are, but don't under estimate it's effect on the performance of a wing. An aircraft will perform at lot differently flying out of say Albuquerque at 5300 ft above seal level on hot day compared to Anchorage (144 ft AMSL) on cold day! I'm a pilot by the way. As I said I'm not going to speculate, but there's a lot of talk about a flame out and engine failure. Thing is if you are trying to round out from a dive, you need a tight turn radius you don't want too much speed. In aviation altitude is life insurance. Did he have enough (for the density altitude) to recover before hitting the ground. I don't know. Something happened (or did not), that's all be know for now.
  8. It is such a shame. I'm not going to speculate on the cause, but if it does turn out to be related to the warm humid day, the very thing that drew many of those people out for a trip to the seaside, ultimately caused their demise. Fate is the hunter.
  9. If you do decide to purchase a heavy duty petrol machine, have a look at qwashers on ebay. Top quality machines
  10. He's sold other saws, strimmers etc recently. So either he's a prolific thief or a genuine seller I'm usually very cautious, but can't see anything obviously wrong unless it's got some early signs of engine damage due to wrong mix. I reckon it's legit, but then I ain't buying it.
  11. Internal length is 2.46m and width 1.49m, so that's 3.66m2. Don't know how high the mesh sides are, but if they are 1.2 m it's 4.4 M3
  12. Thanks for all the replies... Think I'm going to discount the PTO option and go for one with a petrol engine - either the 13T road tow, or, as I've just noticed the also do 13T free standing ones with either a 7.5 hp Briggs or a 13 hp Briggs . My tractor will only lift 525 KGS at the link ends or 308 KGS 2 feet behind, and the Posch 13T PTO is 338 KGS, so too much. Still, that leaves the tractor free to run a saw bench
  13. That's what I thought Jon. Might be OK with the 13T HydroCombi PTO as they say it only need 18hp. Don't know how well it would run it though.
  14. Thanks Rob, thank speaks volumes! So 13T is plenty then?
  15. It's only 26 engine hp, or 18 hp at the PTO. Do you really think it will be enough? How much does the MF 35 have? Might struggle with weight on the 3 point link to as she's only a compact.
  16. Are you still happy with the machine Rob? Is 13T enough? Big jump in price up to their 20T road tow. Can't decide between Posch or the Riko. I have compact tractor, but it's only 18 PTO hp, so probably won't run any of the Posch PTOs, so I'm now looking at the petrol ones. Need it for 1m billets as well as old arb waste rings. Thanks in advance.
  17. Yes. Stihl have issed a letter approving the use of Aspen in their machines. I think AA oils posted it on here a while back? But you won't damage a new saw running it on Aspen.
  18. Go on the Ifor Williams' website I passed my driving test after January 1st 1997, can I still tow a trailer? - New & Used Trailers - Horsebox, Livestock, Plant, Tippers, Car Transporters, Flatbed, Box Van, Spares Is the MAM of the towing vehicle 3500 ks of less? --YES--> Is the combined MAM of the towing vehicle and trailer 3500 or less? --NO--> Does the trailer have a MAM of 750kgs of less? --NO--> NOT PERMITTED TO TOW Trailer MAM = The maximum combined unladen weight of the trailer and the permitted load it can carry. Vehicle MAM = The combined vehicle kerb weight (unladen weight and any load capacity
  19. Bet he felt a jerk
  20. Yes, you get characters in all sports of course, but they are tougher, grittier and more passionate in cycling. He almost over cooked it on a corner with about 10 km to go. Wasn't surprised to see Cadel get dropped, but didn't expect him to loose as much time as he did.
  21. 1L BPA free wide mouth Nalgenes are brilliant. When I'm mountaineering in cold areas I carry 2 and fill 1 with boiling water to use as hot water bottles in your doss bag, then it's drinking water then next day. They are the only bottles i would trust not to leak which in a down bag at -30C could be a tad inconvienient to say the least.
  22. Another vote for the Makita 9403. I've got one and my wife's uncle who makes staircases has about 6.
  23. Not sure what size you are after, but Proclimber sell one.... Skidding cone [PR0416] : Proclimber Professional Arborist Products Online, Supplies for the professional arborist
  24. Sure I'm going to get shot down here, but I find the Brits a little bit too arrogant nowadays. Did you hear Wiggins swearing in the press conference the other day when asked about doping? Not for the first time either and as for Cavendish.... well some of his outbursts have been worse. Now I'm sure people will say that this shoot-from-the-hip style is part of his appeal, but this isn't boxing. Cycling's promoted as a family sport, so I beleive the role models should be better ambassadors. Did anybody see Lance Armstrong an a press conference a few years ago when he was attacked over doping by Paul Kimmage (anybody remember him)?
