  1. doesn't your boss just happen to be selling one, matt?
  2. watch out for the email from largs. I know you like to look dapper of an evening down the local stevie:001_tongue:
  3. are they ordinary tickets or are they like the ones i've got, for the guest area?
  4. what a trampoline???
  5. is that the 15 or the 18 metre one bob?
  6. now i have seen everything and they call us land rover owners wierd:bongsmi:
  7. like the skip trailer they have built, would be quite good for transporting s/p stump grinders i would have thought.
  8. wrong, try the biggest county in england chum.
  9. starting to look like a nice vehicle that rupe.
  10. how many references were there to claus mattheck in there?
  11. first glimpse of Jonah Lomu's successor readying for the rugby world cup in england.
  12. i've looked into doing my B+E and it worked out it would cost me roundabout £800 with a training company near me which is used by various haulage firms etc that was for 3 days at £210 a day +vat and the test itself costs £105 no vat. I'm 32 but only passed my test three year ago due to medical reasons which also stop me applying for my LGV licence so i'm well and truly stuffed at the mo unless i bring in someone who can tow more than 750kg.
  13. why not try the pfanner online shop at PFANNER - Funktionelle und innovative Schutzbekleidung für Arbeit und Freizeit.
  14. the bloke says that he uses it for soil sampling so low mileage, but i bet the low box and diffs need a look at as well as the freewheeling hubs due to being used off road. he also says that the garage used it as their works hack so probably got overloaded. But then again it might be a nice little motor.
  15. i use a propane burner similar to a roofers torch to burn weeds on patios and driveways. Lots more fun until you catch the edge of the tinder dry lawn:scared1:
  16. exactly steve. i do a bit of everything with my business including what many would class as tree work.
  17. sometimes the blokes doing the rotovating are the horticultural variety of brash bitches and just put their head down and get on with the job they are given. Unfortunately a designer will probably not even have a clue with regards to what is being planted or what is being retained plant wise.
  18. As somebody who has a gardening business although i did an nc in arb at houghall college in durham after doing an hnd in horticulture but specialising in arb at askham bryan college matt, you'll be pleased to know this is how i work. I still do smaller trees myself as it means i can keep my hand in and i also totally agree with you on most gardeners not knowing an epicormic from an aesculus especially since the recession bit and all the brickies who were laid off have started driving around with their lawnmowers and chainsaws from b&q in an estate car doing jobs for a fiver an hour or whatever:mad1:
  19. i have the same engine in my citroen dispatch and it really only gets used for short times travelling from job to job but as you say totally bombproof and easily cruises at the ton with a back full of logs and brash and all my gear:001_tongue:
  20. i think a lot of the members on landscapertalk were/are also members on here so they were getting the advice they needed on here for the most part i think. shame really as it had the capability (pardon the pun:blushing:) of been taken to a higher level as arbtalk has
  21. i have a few mates in the forces and i dread that one day it could be one of them coming back and going on the final drive through wooton bassett and being honoured by the locals and their name going on the wall at the National Memorial Arboretum which is why i signed the Royal British Legion's Honour the covenant petition last year.
  22. sorry to hear about this mate. just last night i caught two little scrotes trying the back door of my 90, they even tried to bluff it out by saying they hadn't done anything when i had blatantly seen them when i walked into my front room with my dinner on a tray (which was placed on the table securely before haring after the little ***)
  23. we had the murphy lads near us last year and you can hardly tell where the pipeline is now apart from the new fencing where the road crossing points were, considering the size of the trench they were digging and the equipment that was moving around.
