  3. if you get one mozza, get some mud rails and a bulkhead replacement rail. Taking out the bulkhead gives you about 4 inches extra travel on the ordinary rails but put in some mud rails and i think you get an extra six inches travel. i know a lad who is 6'8", drives a defender like mine but has mud rails fitted and he says its just like driving a disco:thumbup1:

  13. i think most of the work is done by either glendale or mitie or iss waterers. you could try and get a job with mod estates but that is mainly conservation work, building bird boxes or seal perches in the middle of the firth of forth.

  18. have you thought of putting jate rings on the rear as a recovery point or as an anchor point, if they can hold the weight of a landy hanging from the bottom of a helicopter then they should be alright to winch off as they attach to the chassis legs and are fairly cheap (@£15 i think)
  19. my six year old hs45 has spring mount av absorbers.
  20. i did the same last year andy and i had great problems with my hs45 for long periods of time. However for infrequent use by just the one person the 45 is a bob on machine.
