  2. seen that before andy but still cheered me up cheers.
  3. spoken to an aquaintance who's in the police and he thinks it could be being broken for parts or has just been dumped or is on its way to ireland.
  4. cheers for the messages of support lads. Fortunately the van was empty as i was stump grinding and had to empty the van to get the stumper in although my ordinary specs were in and both my silkys:sneaky2:. it went walkies between 3.20 and 3.40pm whilst i was grinding and had my ear defenders down.
  5. why not get a ransomes spider dean? remote controllled and great on slopes, just sit in the landy with a cup of tea and a good book:thumbup1:
  6. cheers brett. I just didn't read the last couple of lines of your mail thats all.
  7. why not put it in quick links under the quick links section on the drop down menu?
  8. Can you let me have your number YP (sorry i've forgotten your proper name:blushing:)?

  10. Are they pointed josh? (older members might remember Monty Python's Self Defence class sketch)
  11. it'll tow 6 tonne if it's braked peter. At westonbirt they tow their Schliesing 235mx behind it and it carries all their gear. The only probem i can see is i think it is a two seater.
  12. yep. He then goes for a shower under Hardraw Force and fights little john at Aysgarth falls in yorkshire. Unless of course all three of these places are in Nottinghamshire:lol:
  13. i've just been reading the latest edition of hort weekly and there is a review of utility vehicles which was done at westonbirt arboretum and one of the vehicles is a caron 862 which the arb team at westonbirt use. It sounds an absolutely ideal vehicle for david as it is road legal although it is LHD but it tows 1,000kg unbraked or 6,000kg braked, has rear pto (540 or 1,000 rpm, with a central pto on request), 24 speed gearbox (16f 8r), three-way tipping. It also does 40Km/H. the suppliers are bsg supplies.
  14. do you mean lamberhurst engineering in surrey?
  15. is that Woody, who was driving it at the yorkshire show baz?
  16. i think bazbro is down there on the orange plant/ timberwolf stand
  17. like tom says just get hold of the Special Vehicles extras list and go for it. and apparently there is a bit more legroom in the newer defenders for some obscure engineering reason but to get a bit more adjustment on the drivers seat try mud rails which are an after-market fit and can be done in an afternoon according to the manufacturers
  18. for a winch look at the line speed, if you don't mind waiting around for a few hours get a ramsey hydraulic winch but for a fast line speed go for the warn 8274 which is what the winch comp lads use. i agree with peter if its a brand new one you're getting
  19. yeah, he goes by BazBro, was talking to him yesterday about hiring a stumper.
  20. if using the brogio head just make sure you're wearing leg protectors as it throws stones about like bullets. Ask Andy Collins about the lad he knows who was on the receiving end of a brogio projectile:scared1:
  21. bramble and chain oil jelly after he's scraped all the bramble berries off his chainsaw trousers mmmmm nice:001_tt2:
  22. jonesie pm sent:thumbup1:
  23. do they fit the original kask helmets justin? if so what do they retail at? got husky muffs on my freeby stihl/petzl vent helmet atm and it feels a lot nicer than my kask with the peltor muffs.
  24. i think dean's landy has an autolift body on it.
