Science has lots of proven theories and facts. The whole thing doesn't fall apart because one or more questions remain unanswered. Religion, for me, has not one proven fact. Which is why I chose science over religion. To me it's fascinating to read how stars are born and how the elements are forged in stars etc.

Well lots of things are predicated, it's then up to the scientists to prove it correct. So if what you say is correct then they will no doubt keep looking until proved or disproved if that is achievable. How many trillions upon trillions of neutrinos did it take before they could detect one? There are lots of theories on how the universe was created, they could all be wrong. Doesn't mean a sky daddy made it. Plus don't you think it's a bit of a cop out saying we don't know where we come from it must be a supernatural God who did it?

Well not a lot. Iirc it is a carrier particle of mass, i.e. it gives/transfers particles mass, or something along those lines. I know it was predicted years ago and they built the LHC to find it, among other things.

Where do we come from? The big bang not some magician. There is a bit more to it than the big bang but basically we are made of star dust. What happens when we die? Nothing, we cease to exist, no one will ever see or speak to us again, we decompose into nothing and are recycled. Whats that big flash and noise in the sky? Thunder and lightening created by air pressure. What happens if im naughty? Well father Christmas is watching and you wont get any presents. Etc, etc, etc.

I would say he wouldnt allow it to happen in the first instance, forget all that free will business, some people shouldnt have it and God would know who they were and rub them out in an instant.

I did when I was younger but as I have keen interest in science I thought all this stuff about God was just made up and it didnt make any sense at all to me. I see it as many do, something designed to try and answer questions we didnt know the answers too and to try and give people a purpose in life.

Its a fairly tall order to create life but when they do what will that mean to you? BTW when I mean life I do mean the basics of life as it took 4 billion years to get from that to us. Something is being created out of nothing constantly, you just have to look at quantum physics. Without trying to be condescending I think it's quite easy to believe in a God and have faith as I agree the opposite can be quite scary. To each their own but then where's the fun on agreeing to disagree.

So, saying that I dont believe in God means I wont listen to others opinions now? Opps yes I forgot, the basis of many religions is to deny all others and try to convert them. Touché Jomoco, really, where are you going with that nonsense!?

In the future we will no doubt reproduce in other ways rather than sex so that's your little theory out the window. It's people of religion that are mainly racist, sexist and homophobic. Praise the God fairing folk. We don't need God anymore to live good healthy lives.

If you are going to use that kit make you do the carabiners up very tight and keep checking them as it isn't a good idea to use them in that configuration especially as you don't know what you are doing.

I would say that petrol isn't the issue the operator is to blame. Using old fuel, cheap or non existent two stroke or just poor maintenance in general. I have never had a petrol problem with hand held machines in 20 years of work. I have never had a problem with any cars, trucks our large machines that use petrol, and petrol has never given me any health issues. I can see the last point being the most important one for people who are affected directly by petrol Besides I love the smell of two stroke. -
I do like to read/watch the news but I certainly dont have a favourite or despise any particular thing. How do you describe one brand of news against another? Its not a paper or a tv channel so what is it? Anyway, the only people I really laugh at is those who say that they dont read the news any only 'sheeple' do, in fact anyone who says 'sheeple' out loud should have there sandals boiled in chilli oil while they sleep.

At least it's reassuring to know that there is nothing nasty going on in the world if scary hornets make the headlines. Apparently there is a solicitor planning a law suit against sir David Attenborough and David Bellamy as we speak. Someone is too blame and these are the likely suspects. so then, who do we trust to give us relevant, impartial correct news? You have to remember the majority of Joe public loves a bit of drama compared to reality.

I think a lot of people do, right up until the point they are made to feel like an incompetent idiotic loser if they don't bang a claim in. The ambulance chasing leach law firms have a lot to answer for.

I think you mean a hot knife through butter. Butter doesn't really go through anything unless its a blender then it gets beaten into submission.

It needs to be olive oil or you will just kill it. Always buy fresh, local if you can.

If it makes you feel any better there were probably loads of other customers who were 100% satisfied that day. I've used them twice and they have been spot on. Nothing worse than hanging about all day only to be competently let down. A bit of customer update might have helped a bit.

Im afraid there are a lot more nasty things happening right now than that, so yes it can get a lot worse. I have no doubt it happened, I have been to many a job where the customer has been robbed and ripped off plus there neighbour has suffered too. Usually people in the older pensioner bracket but many a younger person can be well and truly conned by these scum bags.
