1. As a 'reasonable' person they are supposed to ask first though, I think.
2. Certain works can be 'enforced' but they do have to try and get the customer to agree first. Unless extreme circumstances, ie wind/storm damage etc.
3. Hope the tree work went smoother than the video advertising! Actually I dont, I hope to see a big nasty !"*&)*&"($"$ up.
4. When did all this 'illegality' come into place? Surely that means you can be prosecuted for drilling a hole in the exhaust of your 020! That cant be right, surely!?
5. Probably the worst looking bit of arb kit I've ever seen. Should go well with the pfanner helmet though.
6. Dont seem to be able to find the T540xp on any of the Husky web sites now. Looks like they have pulled it! Well thats the conclusion Im jumping too.
7. There have been a few threads on this but I think the answer is, make sure you have the little notch lined up, make sure the oil isnt over filled(although the newest caps have a little hole so they dont hydraulic and not push in) make sure the bit you twist hasnt moved a bit before you try to fit the cap, clean up any crap around where the cap sits, and push down on the cap as you turn it(probably the most important bit IMO) Tbh you are probably best PMing one of the members called Skyhuck(you can find him from the member list right at the very bottom of the page) as he can probably give you a few pointers.
8. Do you think he will do a NTP cut or a flush cut? The customer doesnt know best, the professional does, just dont tell them that.
9. Things have been poor for the last 2 years tbh.
10. P&P is only £45, deffo a bargain.
11. Also seems another 'popular' problem with arbs. Could be worthy of its own poll. What symptoms did you have if you dont mind me asking? Hope the op sorts it out.
12. Sounds like some of you suffer quite badly. Seems as though it does affect a fairly high percentage, a lot higher than I thought there would be! Cheers for the info and comments, always good to highlight stuff like this that can creep up on you without knowing. Bob, a good few nice little tips there too, especially number 5. I wonder if stuff like aspirin will help as that thins the blood and can help with circulation.
13. Looks like you wont have to do much branch walking and as long as you are anchored into the stem I doubt it will snap out. Hope you saw is nice and sharp.
14. Does that mean you are going to give it a miss? At 3 metres its probably a simple enough job for trained/experienced power line lads but my advice is dont do it and dont believe the house holder one bit!!!! Besides even if you dont get electrocuted but blow the lines you will get severely stung by the power company to sort it out, and your insurance wont be interested.
15. BEFORE YOU VOTE PLEASE READ!!! Please only vote if youve been doing the job professionally for at least 5 years. Just wondering since there has been a few threads about HAVS how may people out there suffer with it. Ive been climbing for 15 years and havent a problem yet and off the top of my head I cant think of anyone that suffers(although most of them are climbers too)
16. Could have been lucky and it only fell into the cylinder when the saw had stopped. You have to get it out before you even think of pulling that starter cord. Actually you want to make sure you dont rotate the engine even a tiny bit as it could get caught in a transfer port and damage the piston/rings etc. Maybe whip the exhaust off, have a look inside and see if it will come out through the exhaust port(it should do).
17. Err is it this guy?
18. You can buy a new one. Dont think it will break the bank. Look for FR Jones on the right hand side of the screen, they should be able to get you one.
19. That is indeed very bad news. Well in Scotspine1 for a good find.
20. .....you dont get excited about how big a lump you can knock off, you just think of the hard graft back on the deck.
21. Brilliant. Looks like some nice lumps, what tonner crane?
22. Sorry to hear. Thoughts to friends, family and all involved.
23. Janpanese maple. They dont usually grow big enough to warrant a bit of professional work. Leylandii are the best, they generate the most income.
24. Whats the problem? Draw the loan, max the credit card to the limit then drop dead of over indulgence!!!! The joke is on them:lol::lol:
25. Yeah well nothing ever bothers you though. Someone, somewhere will always be offended, and thats all that counts these days.
