  1. I think the "we shall inform you.." phrase really puts the onus on the councils legal department. Yeah I know your going to say ignorance is no defence. We have started having TPO orders by signed recorded delivery now, sent to us from the legal departments, as the agents. Why would they leave you out when you made the application? bizarre, but that's councils for you!
  2. 15" Mac book Pro, not too big, not too small... just right Think of it as an investment... in three years you pay another couple of hundred quid you up grade to a new one. do that with a PC and you will need to throw it in the bin. Get one from america if you have the means. And get extended warranty off fleabay, as they are worldwide warranties
  3. Or should I put cold weather tyres on... or even mud and snow???? Help!
  4. Evening all, Hope your all well! Thinking about putting winter (not snow) tyres on my iveco daily as it is appalling in the wet let alone the ice, and I reckon that it would be cheaper to buy these than have an accident, or even, not get to a job! Can anyone recommend a particular brand or do you have any good or bad experiences with them? Also anywhere that has them at good prices.
  5. Look at a lower lipid diet (google it). Eat little and often, so you burn it as you eat it. Fruit is full of sugar as well so perhaps limit that. Portion control. Try raw porridge with yoghurt, I find it lasts alot longer than cooked as it harder to digest. Perhaps get a blood test just in case. Good luck
  6. Mmmmm.. daily...I love my daily I know i get 20 to the gallon (it's a 35c14) but it's how it does it. and it just loves a big load. Sorry to divert your thread
  7. Just a quickie... My Arb Essential No-Risk Chainsaw Pro-Climber 2 Arborist Boots got a split across the bottom of the vibram sole. Is it possible to fix this? o get it re soled? Your swift answers would be appreciated as I need to water proof my feet asap
  8. On me iPhone 4, i keep losing emails that I have read.. compared to the crackberry which just had all your emails and messages on one screen whether you had read them or not. Can you get the google step by step sat-nav in this country and where do i find it?
  9. Jesus man, the spelling in the ad?????
  10. Hi. Just started to go on arbtalk on the iPhone and it is asking me if I would like tapatalk. Anyone on here used it, and is it worth it. Cheers
  11. Hey, he's got two eyes... what more do you need!!! He is a hardcore bee-atch!!
  12. Hi Ben/every body... On reading this post 2 weeks ago I had a good feel.. and have found unusual shapes. that was 2 weeks ago put it off for a few days, but went to the doctors last friday. I am off for a scan this afternoon. (nice and rapid!) Fingers crossed, but I'm not too worried, just tinges occasionally. GET CHECKING EVERYONE!!!! My lump is right in between so it was a bit weird. Hope your hanging in there Ben and not watching too much daytime TV.
  13. You can try the RHS plant finder section and they can send these things to you from anywhere in the country for a fee!
  14. it's a bit like a carpet trolly, isn't it??
  15. Why don't you just pay off someone in the council.... isn't that how they operate:biggrin:
  16. corydline's and yuccas.. I think you can bosch.. but wait till the last frosts next year (May) if your going to stump it (so the dormant buds don't freeze) otherwise not much except dead wooding!
  17. RHS guide to pruning and training.... gives details of when and how to prune pretty much everything.
  18. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3D4FN5cdZk&feature=related]YouTube - Mean Hedgecutter 2[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEx8Wn_8r-4&NR=1]YouTube - Mean Hedgecutter[/ame] Has this been posted before!!!
  19. Bad luck mate... what I'm really hacked off about is the very long wait and the guessing diagnosis from all the experts!! My wife is paranoid with her lumps in her breasts, she always pays to get it checked out privately. Costs £350 a pop, but she gets her answer in a day, then if it came to it (which it hasn't, thank heaven) then she would come back to the nhs. Time is of the essence. The up side is that I think testicular cancer has a very high success rate.
  20. When they ask 'why are you cutting the trees'. You can always cross your eyes and say in your best mungo voice 'Training day'
  21. Is monkey Robococ? I think we should be told:biggrin:
