  4. Definitely looked like a metal detector. But then drains are usually made of ceramics, especially Victorian ones, er, and not metal. Interesting. Moosie
  5. Just saw the dyno rod boys working next door this morning, they had a metal detector (or did they?) to look for pipes for a cctv inspection.. got me thinking, would a metal detector be good before you do some stump grinding, or is a cat scanner better, or what did they have?
  6. We had one of the first batch of bc150's and we had a problem where the fly wheel housing was designed where it did not fit (like as in a circle but had a squared out area where the debris could eddie around) and it would dribble then block up to eight times a day, I presume yours has been changed, ours was and it made a huge difference, check it just in case. just keep everything serviced, greasing, changing blades, new air filters once a month, oil and filters every 100 hours, anvil when ever it needs to be done (£80) and when you do London plane, don't over stuff it give it bit of breathing space between branches. When it over heats the top red light will stay on, clean the pre filter on the radiator, and put the blower on gentle into the front of the rad.
  7. Found this big (well it's big for us townies!) stump in a hamlet near Hoarwithy/Ross-on-Wye.

  10. My Brother in law has written a book on Lalique, he got to know the family in Paris and interviewed them. I had a friend who would always get his tats at one of the conventions, you would get the 100 top artists in the world, and hence a fine piece of art work.
