    A client has asked me to prevent pigeons from fouling their foot path to their door. we could put in bird spikes but its a tree with loads of branches (I will probably go down this route) but are there any other alternatives that are not a) shooting them b) getting a real bird of prey in, that will work Are the plastic birds of prey or the spinning rods effective, or is it just spikes to be sure. (no I'm not from over the water!)

    I went past this setup on monday as well. Full lane closure, pavement closed, quite impressive for a crappy council job, I suppose it was the posh part of Hounslow. Can I make jokes about helmets, poor workmanship etc etc, or is that just poor taste. Please tell me!

    Was looking at this the other day... and Tensa cone do these for around £58 +VAT for two. Sounds a better price, but only 3.6m each. 9m sounds like a long stretch, handy though... and cones, well cones they're free, aren't they:biggrin: TCN Tensacone - Tensator - Crowd Control & Queue Management Products, including Tensabarrier Posts and Wall Mounted Barriers.
