  1. I was only thinking that the other day, for this site. Go on Steve do it! Perhaps a map with the sites on it would be best, maybe a layer on google maps? Then you could find your location then find the nearest site with contact details?
  2. I had one and started getting all blasé with it like going through roots without a care in the world... and I would say it ain't all that, I know i abused it, but it didn't sharpen very well.. oh and did I mention .... I abused it. Perhaps stick with a stump grinder and a normal chain for your chainsaw!
  3. Evening all, I have looked at a few trees in Marlborough and was thinking of getting in either a harvester or an excavator with a grab (big-ish that will weigh 20t and lift 2t) Can someone quote me for a days work with machine and driver. It would be pollarding 6 willows and either stacking them or putting them on a fire, there is very good access for large machinery, or if anyone has any other ideas that would be appreciated. Cheers Moosie

  6. It's a caffeine addiction, apparently if you go over three days without it it gets a lot easier.
  7. I was on the continent last week.... WOW their coffee was just amazing, do they put different milk in it? who knows.
  8. When switching the machine off, put in reverse for 5 seconds to clear the blades then reduce revs to idle, leave for 1 minute for engine to cool. Then switch off. Helps 95% of the time. .... Also when it cuts out on over heating, hit that reverse bar! --- - Moosie
  9. treat it as a 6" machine and it will take pretty much everything, I have had mine for 5 years now, fast machine... but over heats on plane, was thinking of putting a temp gauge on it, any ideas anyone.
  10. Never really thought to look it up.... Nice one! Hamadryad - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  11. dare I say 2nd hand ebay but you must see the bike before you part with cash.. you could pick up something quite decent then. Prices have gone up dramatically over the past couple of years so there are no real bargains (new) anymore. Oh and buy in January if you can.
  12. We don't have lockers on the trucks But do have an open tool area directly behind the cab. It's like not having a lock for the bicycle... So you have to take it in wherever you are. --- - Moosie
  13. And then do what Mr Blair says 'and you'll pay me up front as I don't know you' or something like that. :-)
  14. Hi nick It's called tilt shift generator Moosie
  15. Burnt tree is awful on the chainsaw.. by the way. If he starts haggling then double it... in fact double it any way.. it's going to be a really bad job, as they say price it like you don't want it, and this one you don't want, probably.
  16. SWEET!! Any one know how to size them or shall I just take a few for a lucky dip seeing as they're such good value
