  1. Ahh.. the life of a tree surgeon, cool innit!
  2. And then you do a few little fruit trees in Mrs Miggins back garden, a couple of handfuls of twigs n sticks and tea... and you make more money???
  3. Is that 3k to fell and stack in his garden. Can you just leave the stem eg as big as We have permission to do a 'big' poplar that we have put 3750 on. But we can get a crane in with skips. Will post photos later. Perhaps you can say it's your. Haha Moosie
  4. What's wrong with that colour! :big grin: Actually I think you can get them in any colour you like, pink anyone:001_rolleyes:
  5. They are indeed young man, they cost around £55.00 delivered from Greentyre - tyres without air Nice Geordie lasses who will sort you out, Specify that you want 2, you can guess what happened to me, but they sent the other one P&P free. Then you need to get a tyre fitter to push it on as they are really tight. Brush rubbing on the wheel seems to score it.. but apart from that it's really cool not having to repair them each week
  6. Hill Billying it up in West London! :big grin: HD it if you really want to! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvCsIuP-eng]Stein arbor trolly - YouTube[/ame]
  7. Ditto.... it smells all over. Who's going to make the call
  8. The trolley makes/saves you so much money that I don't think this is really an issue:biggrin:
  9. Here's the link.... looks like they stock most smaller engines! Uni-Power|Briggs|Honda|kohler|Kubota|Lombardini|Peerless|Yanmar
  10. It would be good to source plastic rims, with roller bearings, I reckon!
  11. WOW! Asked Honda... they quoted £1129 Inc P+P reduced down to £994 inc.. then Phil at Universal engines 01371 875331, who quoted me £493+vat and delivery at £12.95.... So I jumped at that. The only difference in this engine is that it had a different air filter (not cyclone one, which I have off my broken unit) and a spark arrest that is easy to wire! How cool was that, almost 40% saving!
  12. Hi, I fitted the Greentyre - tyres without air they are fantastic. You will need to get your local tyre fitters to bench press them on for you as they are very tight. The only problem we have had is (I think) when brush rubs on the side wall of the tyre, it makes grooves in it, but this far outweighs having to repair punctures all the time!
  13. OR... could i put a different engine on, maybe even a slightly bigger one.. say 16hp, it's to go on an RG13 (like/equivalent) stump grinder.
  14. Do you know what grinds my gears about the arbor trolly.... the blue bits stick out further than the wheels, it just hits those things out the side of houses... BUT.... apart from that, it's paid for itself so many times over.. it's un believable. AND the solid wheels rock. No punctures, brilliant.
  15. Any one got any other dealers for these engines, just waiting for Universal and Honda to give me a price. I phoned Honda, they say they don't make them, so... if I could jump the middle man, I could be quids in I did see them in the states for what works out to be £445.00 plus tax and shipping. Is it worth it doing it that way, does anyone need a cheap engine perhaps we can get a few in?
  16. Grovel, justify why the tree came down..... and never trust anyone when it comes to the status of trees. It may take a little bit of time but always email for confirmation of status of a tree, then you have your paper trail. We used to work for HA, and I tell you, this is probably an easy one to sort out! Good luck, and please don't stress over this!
  17. I had some Birch juice the other weekend out of a carton, in Warsaw.. it was very subtle in taste and non alcoholic
  18. Can't seem to find that one.. have you got the numbers right?
  19. Got myself a canon G12... can be very technical, if you need it to be and is pretty heavy but seems really good.... so far! The only thing I wish it had was Geotagging!! but that's a whole different ball game!
  20. Either way they all look like voracious wood munchers... agreed or not?
