  1. One good thing about them is you can use a micro grab and tighten and release with one hand, and you get to spend loads more money at jonsies Moosie On my Samsung Note - It's big, but it's good
  2. I got my Samsung galaxy Note (it's 5.something inches) for £380 delivered from amazon. I've also got my Otterbox (from america, they delivered in 2 days £55). It's so nice not having to squint at the iPhone, but it still goes in the pocket, and do you know what really made me smile. It uses the same charger as just about everyone else.... except for apple. You can sync your contacts and emails with google, with what ever other devise you have (pc, mac etc), and it has google navigation which is a satnav which is free. The screen is stunning beyond belief. I'm not missing my iPhone
  3. You know ipads don't run the same software as a computer. I have just gone from iphone to a phablet. The android system has pretty much everything the iphone has and it's pretty much free. Also the initial cost is 60pcent. And when they say there's an app for that.. There's about 10 in the android market. Android works faster as well Its not quite as accomplished as the apple stuff but for the price its really good. And I haven't even got ice cream sandwich on it yet. I am so pleased I moved to the dark side Moosie On my Samsung Note - It's big, but it's good
  4. I reckon you could shainsaw that, what do you all think. Would you have to do it with seasoned wood? Or oukd you make it green and use it straight away? Moosie On my Samsung Note - It's big, but it's good
  5. The phones ringing agan..... I don't believe it? Moosie On my Samsung beast of a note

  7. I brought an electric one, a RIKO 9t. it's pretty much silent, but I saw a vid with the petrol version and it was way faster, especially on the return stroke, but as I live in an urban area I needed electric and it is silent bar the lovely sound of splitting wood. Oh and it is really heavy, but you can take in to narrow access gardens.
  8. Price of fuels gone down too.. I don't believe it! Moosie On my Samsung beast of a note
  9. Outstanding wood working... be good to see close up of the of the engraving actually being done, with the router and the chisel, and erm, also, could you hold your iPhone horizontally, we then get to see loads more:big grin:
  10. Depends if your going to over load it... and I think we all know the answer to that:big grin: You should see what it's like loaded, I had an old smiley face transit that had only a single leaf spring at the rear and it handled it quite well. but then we had another smiley face truck that we whacked the 5 leaf spring on, and even though it looked liked something out of whacky races when empty, you couldn't tell from the side that it was a 'ahem, a bit' over loaded. If you do get the 5 leaf heavy duty, then wise to get barn doors on the rear, and no one is none the wiser.
  11. unless they just priced it wrong, of course, perhaps they haven't done a hornbeam before and of course they might not turn up thinking, why have I got that job.

  15. Perfect job for an Arbor Trolly! One day 3 men - what ever your price for that (750-900) 40 yd - ro-ro bin £450+vat or grab lorry green waste around £300+vat, grab lorries take around 20tons. ... and you can stunt fell most of them, always quicker when it's on the deck (even if they are facing the wrong way, plus there will be 3 people dragging). and definitely hire an arbor trolly!
