  2. Now you just need to build a nice milled built in cupboard to put all your stuff into in your bedroom:biggrin: BTW like the bed very well done!
  3. I believe that if you, as an arborist, believe it to be DDD then you can go ahead. As Mesterh says take a load of photos to back it all up. DDD is Dead, dying and dangerous, three terms that are statutory works which make them exempt. I'm sure the earliest for power tools is 8am, you can always do a bit of hand saw stuff before.
  4. Have you tried Welcome to partgateway.co.uk.. they send your request to loads of breakers yards and suppliers around the country.
  5. What brand is that splitter? Just saw the brand name!
  6. Uprated spring from Paddington springs in Wembly are £300-£350... don't get ripped off old chum!
  7. Funny you should speak about them.. they just phoned me up and they hung up on me when I said, after various other facts, just who are you when no one has heard of you!
  8. Just get out and ride!!! (hard tail, no discs, front suspension, saves loads of weight)
  9. You know what... I just brought up their website.. and I've never seen it before, even though I'm on there somewhere. They used to phone me up for money but never went with it. Nuff said!
  10. Errrr... he's only getting a tenner a day extra, with no benefits, sick pay, holiday pay. Perhaps he is the bosses eyes on the job?

  12. Oh BTW very skilled... you can even see her ribs.... cool!
  13. Tree porn or art... I think we should be told!
  14. This was the first one I did. It's in the french alps. It's a 600' sheer cliff face very dramatic but in hind sight not very challenging [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MRsT-WEI-M]YouTube - Vertigo[/ame]
  15. Don't be put off by that youtube vid, there not unsafe like that, I think )

  17. British inventor's green idea of using leaves to make fire logs | Mail Online
  18. Yeah, I wouldn't go on that Caminito thingy... . I don;'t like unsafe heights... Via ferrata has wires in the the walls for safety. .
  19. I've seen them pull in front of vehicles with those big matrix signs telling you to follow them! You can't miss it:thumbup:
  20. It's seriously wicked.. I've only done three runs in France. You get the height and the excitement without too much danger. I will get the name of a book for the Italian Via Ferrata a bit later for you. I'm off to do a few more this summer, am going to take the 13y.o. son, as I think he is ready for it. It's like Go Ape with out the cost and it's a bit more solid footing.
  21. There are issues where you cannot get any service manuals for the iveco, so they have you by the short and curlies, but any decent mechanic should be able to sort any problems. Our local van dealer/mechanic said that the old smiley (Mk5) transits were the last ones to be able to take the abuse a tree surgeon would throw at it. And I brought the Iveco, had it sign written, and even the missus says I look like a professional outfit, now! Also had loads of new enquiries.
  22. The 35c14 is thirsty, but pulls fully loaded with a chipper, really well. I f you don't do high mileage, it's really good, and you get this big grin all the time, from feeling like your driving a real truck. Mate of mine just said the new transits are really bad if you load them, whereas the Iveco will just do it! Payload is the usual crap, I'm thinking about getting up rated springs (9 leaf, ooo-err). Doesn't stop overloading though.
