  1. I know what it sounds like.. but the client is a buildings contractor, and they need the work done fast and we are already on their approved list, and I won't be going back to Northamptonshire in a very long time... honest!
  2. Afternoon Ladies! Maybe doing a job in wellingborough (NN8) this wednesday and would like to dump a transit truck or 2 of woodchip off locally. A free or cheap dump would be really good, it just saves us lugging it back down the motorway. It's only a one off. Your knowledge and help would be most appreciated!
  3. Hey Nick, how is it living with a black truck, as i'm about to do the same. Do it or don't do it... I think it looks dead cool.
  4. That was funny, I'm sure there was something like this on here the other day..that someone linked to
  5. Think how much better rave's would be on carpet!
  6. An oldie but a goldie.... That made me laugh!
  7. 45k on a nine year old vehicle... there's your problem.. not ragged enough:thumbup: I've just gone to an Iveco Daily 35c14 from transit smiley face.. couldn't do the new shape due to their reputation of not being up to tree surgery. But, so long as it holds for 20k you'll be well sorted. Good luck:thumbup1:
  8. Funnily enough... you are thought of as moving targets! Keep em peeled:biggrin:
  9. And it looks like the top got knocked out of it.

  12. Now that's where I'm going wrong with the kids, I usually put a padlock on it, but the wife keeps giveing the kids the combination!
  13. Relatives of mine live on a huge dutch barge on the ship canal outside inverness and they chuck logs into one of those stove thingies with the door kept shut, and then it heats all the radiators in the house/boat.. Simples... or is it?
  14. Jesus.. that sounds like loads. We have a 5 bed edwardian semi, we kept the heating on at 21degrees - 24 hrs a day and our bill came in at six fiddy for the quarter. No supplementing with logs fires. There is the discussion of constant temp or the old up and down during the day and night, namely not having to blast it to get it back up.
  15. It's horrible ash, you just know they are a bit of a beee'atch to do by hand, but if it is so, then so be it. What do you reckon to a winch, would it get a suitable grip on it to pull the ball out?
  16. Hi, Any ideas on how to grind on a slope of 45 degrees, are there self levelling machines, or should I just winch them out, there are no major stumps, just 5-7 years old ash saplings. Cheers
  17. if you want a bit of core strength maybe give a bit of ashtanga yoga, also for flexibility, then do a bit of rock climbing...mmmm. Anyway you've given me the urge and I'm off down the gym.
  18. I eat a rolled organic oats and nuts mixture, raw with yoghurt, which seems to last a lot longer than cooked oats, also you want to be not eating within the 2 hours before the gym, so the body doesn't covert it to fat straight away. You also needs carbs for a couple of hours after the work out to keep your body from dipping, and finally a max of a 45-60min work out is all that is needed. not including warm up and warm down. Oh and finally, finally you should do cardio and weights.
  19. You could always show him the readies, might help. I hire a guy in with a rg85.. I am so impressed with it. Good luck ps. I think it comes with a trailer as well.
  20. How could you let this one go by... Rayco RG 50 stump grinder - Arbtalk Classifieds. It's the dogs I reckon
