1. I was thinking that. I've found dry oak to be some of the best firewood - but takes a long time to get it really dry.
2. Yes and a real pro looking to get straight in there with a bore cut!
3. I played COD Black Ops zombies for a year and a half - only game I liked really... not so keen on the newer ones...
4. Great to see all that timber being used
5. Thanks Jim
6. Hi Jim - I have updated the website to show the bars for the MS192 C-E. Actually pretty much all the small saws take the same bars or at least have the same bar mount. I have started trying to group together saws to make it easier to see which bars are interchangeable between saws. So if you looked at all the Stihl saws as Group 1 these ones are all interchangeable. MS211, MS210, MS201, MS201T, MS200T, MS200, MS230, MS231, MS192C-E, MS192T, MS191T, MS190T, MS181, MS180, MS171, MS170, 021, 020T, 020, 019T, 019, 018, 017, 012, 011, 010, 009 (025, MS250, MS251 – drive sprocket
7. Like it!
8. Ha ha! Great vid!
9. I like it Ian - I prefer this one to the first - it sort of goes together better IMO
10. I will be selling Echo soon - but the saws to me seem well made and solid - they are more from the old school where realiability and durability are the most important factors.
11.
I would try without first Pat - I find that good maintenace and sharp chains mean the existing oiler works fine unless you are doing loads and loads of big stuff.

12. It is.... in a perfect world!
13. Good work! Reminds me I have stuff to stick - funny how you can put in all the effort to mill stuff but not get round to stacking it!
14. Nice work!
15. Welcome to the forum
16.
Hi Gareth - we have just changed our line over and hence the phone has not been working... I think we have this sorted now anyway. Rob

17. Good thread Jon Chainsaw milling - keep practicing your chain sharpening until it is near perfect - it is the key to using a chainsaw and especially with milling.
18.
19. Sometimes chisel chain can be overly aggressive - but this can depend on so many things ie. saw bar combo, wood you're cutting, size of wood you're cutting. Just give it a go at 30 degrees and see how you go - if it works as morten said work the angle down in increments to 10 degrees. If a lot of vibration then best to go to a micro chisel.
20. Pleasure
21. Granberg is the only .325 ripping chain out there... Best thing is as said file a micro chisel chain to 10 degrees.
22. All factory ripping chain is semi chisel - full chisel tend to be very juddery and aggressive although in some soft woods may work well...
23. Has taken ages to get the next Sugi order done - so still are 4 months away... (for the T540XP) But when they are in there will be: Pro lam - 12",14" and 16" 1/4" pitch Pro lam - 12",14" and 16" 3/8 lo pro Light type 12",14" and 16" 3/8 lo pro There are a few people who use 16" bars on a top handle - in fact Reg wanted a 16" for his 200t! But only had 14" at the time...
24. Yep always worth sticking up and seeing if there's any takers
25. Loving the golfer!
