  1. also guys n gals dont forget that this only applies at currentto the 'c' and above class drivers. as a busness we have taken this exemption but will be looking at some of our drivers who are driving for quite long periods although there driving is incidental and putting them through cpc cheers kevin

  3. it a viciousee circle chaps. i read all these postings on hear about how bad things are how cheap prices are for tree work how can you be expected to compete and run a good buisness with such rubbish profit. all sounds like british airways, KLM etc when freddie laker started, what happend he whent bancrupt, as do so many cheap places, but not all, interesting that many of the big brands put restrictions on what you can and cant sell over the phone and on line etc, its all just a slippery slope. just like the price of tree work, think how you get the hump when you 'percive someone comming on your teritory and knicking your work' chains direct are they any differant????? depressed kev here !!! as for our man from cambridge i have to say if he cant get a good service from his local shop then he needs to move on cos just like cutters shops are about delivering service, and playing by the rules. having said that i have bought off the net too no ones perfect not least of all me kev

  10. Publications & Merchandise half way down on the right guide to use of mewps in tree work and also as you have ssid http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/afag403.pdf in a nut shell NO there is no genneral recomendation for jakets or arborist sleeves in a mewp. BUT YOUR risk assessment may decide otherwise. it have been said people worry too much, i think they actually over think things, worrying or assessing is the right thing to do, knowing when enough is enough is were the skill comes in. as for cs gloves same thing really but gloves of some sort should be worn. just ask your self is there going to be a significant gain in safty that is clear and measurable, that will not inconveiniance, delay or make uncomfortable your staff jakets in mewps nahhhhhhhhhhhhhh 2 man working in mewps well there is another can of worms have a look at the guide cheers kev
