    Just 'cos it says 12 on the packaging and you have had it 6 doesnt make it 18 y/old whiskey does it? I though the aging process was in the Cask? Dean, I am sure some of those North of the great wall, may class it as a tourist thing. BUT I did the whiskey trail up in the Highlands with my old man when I was younger. Great fun it was but a harsh awakening for a 15 year old.

    Not really a whiskey drinker. I used to enjoy a JD or JB. As for whiskey's I drank quite a lot of Chivas whilst in Thailand. Not quite as much a my old mate Hunter. but a Chivas all the same.

    As you get more experienced and understanding of different timber types your choice of anchor will change accordingly. I regularly anchor into branches or stems. It depends on the type of climb, what work required and species of tree.

    Never a truer word spoken or typed. I have done this sort of working plenty of times. Imagine doing it day in day out, attempting to complete 6 or 8 of these trees in a day just to make basic wage. You would need an extra truck just for the signs and cones alone. Let alone the time taken to setup and dismantle the Tm for every tree. I am glad I don't do this type of work anymore.

    I wonder how many of the people spouting about traffic management or lack of, have actually worked in that situation in Central London..?

    Sorry it is unclear from your ad. Do you have 5,000,000 PL insurance or do you require your freelance climber to have 5,000,000 pl cover?

    That is why I don't work for the likes of the company in the video. High pressure jobs to complete or you don't get paid. Usually not enough staff to do safely and traffic is a nightmare. I don't want to tar every cyclist with the same brush, but Central London has it's fair share of idiots on 2 wheels. A lot of people cycle, use mopeds or motor cycles to save time getting around. A lot seem to think that red lights, zebra crossing and junctions don't apply to them. So why would an inadequately coned work area on a busy road be any different? To some it is just another thing they might see as an obstacle to navigate around or through to continue saving a bit of time. FTR I have been ridden into by a cyclist as I was crossing the road outside Euston Station. Pedestrian crossing, the lights were red, Green man said go and the cyclist carried on but eventually wobbled and fell off.

    Hello mate, interested in hearing of you shoulder rehab problems. I have a torn rotator cuff in my left shoulder. Probably an RSI from cutting and chucking and simply overuse. I have been to an Osteo a couple of times and with a bit of prompting she eventually recommended some exercises. It feels stronger and the ROM is slowly increasing without the pain. What exercises were you doing. BTW I dont do weights, usually body resistance exercises but most of the ones for the shoulder I am using one of the coloured elastic bands to provide resistance.     TCD, Try Pilates. I have a mate who was booked in for a lower back operation after 2 different specialists said it was the only option. He decided it wasnt for him, quit the pain killers. Started on some natural pain killer muscle relaxation combo and started Pilates. 6 or so years later and he is swimming, running, cycling and even snowboarding again. Heal quick, and remember Pilates is just not for women with incontinence problems.

    When my phone goes off on at 7am on a Sunday morning it is usually one of my customers wanting to be seen to. I end up running around, grabbing a couple of bottles of Champers and then popping over to provide a service. It is a right pain being a Gigolo these days. I remember the day I met up with wealthy widows , Mon - Fri 9-5pm.

    Take them back to the retailer you purchased them from. See if they will exchange and send them back to the manufacturer.

    Why not just set your line as high as you can, Climb to that point and then progress to your end tie in point TIP using Alternate Lanyard Technique or both ends of the rope and alternate throws. Once there set your cambium saver, pulley saver and there you go.

    Yes mate. I usually taper about 2-3 inches of the end of the improvised core. Insert into the fid with only about half to a full centimetre of the shortest strand through the fid. Once you have pulled it to the hole or into the cover it shouldn't slip. I hope you can fathom what I am harping on about. Seems right in my head when I write it.
