  1. He did have an Sclub7 tape in his transit. The dog chewed it one day when I was working for him. I really did think he was gonna burst into tears!
  2. Mr Bolam, in answer to the... It would take me 2 weeks to earn that... You should have replied. "Get saving love, I'll be back in a fortnight!"
  3. Ta, wasn't entirely happy with the result as there was a lot of dead spindley bits in it. so had to be selective where to cut. Never mind, the customer was happy.
  4. So how would that work? Only single line.
  5. A sling, krab and pulley is a lot cheaper but not retrIevable.
  6. I have used one with an old 440 on it. Works a treat and the saw was deomissionsd for cutting as a tree won a fight with it. Works ok on the winch though.
  7. Enjoy mate. Muay Thai is very different but one of the more effective striking arts. Where and which type of JJ do you train? Bjj or Japanese? I have a mate who is bb 2 nd dan in jjj. He also does the weapons and sword system. Know quite a few bjj'ers. I love to watch it. It have had shoulder problems in the past so have always refrained from having a roll with them.
  8. Nice work on the chestnut mate. Did a medium beech rj today.
  9. Who, Maurice Cary Ferdinand Wilks?
  10. I did a ABC Response first Aid course last year. Specifically aimed at the Arb and Forestry sector. We were told it is never a good idea to use CELOX. As stated it makes treating the injury at A&E considerably more difficult. Hopefully we will never have to find out.
  11. Let me know if you can see them... Ta.
  12. ??????????? vs ??? (03/02/12) - YouTube
  13. Fast forward again to pass the makeup techniques.
  14. Fast forward to 2.40 [ame] [/ame]
  15. The problem must have been the link from my iphone. Hopefully this will work. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSE4Dwp1GK0&feature=share]3A vs ???????????(02/03/12) - YouTube[/ame]
  16. I think they are mobile link from YouTube as I'm getting them of the iPhone. I'll post them again when I am at my mac.

    Muay Thai

I know there are a few who train in MT or have an interest. I have a few mates over in Thailand who post fight on sites like Facebook etc. Some good fight are posted and if there raving about them then they usually are. I'll post them here for anyone interested... YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.
  20. I guess these things need looking into. The ability for a grounds to be able to lower the climber is good for srt access. A whole different aPproach is needed now work positioning is being incorporated into srt climbing.
  21. Ian, if your gonna go for the base tie that the grounds is capable of lowering the I juried climbed. All good from safety point of view. I presume as you are that safety conscious you will be cuttin with a lanyard attached locally to the tree? How will the groundie get you down if you are side stropped to the tree when you are unconscious and need rescuing?
  22. Just you wait. In the meantime, why not get a Sugoi? Thicker steel, sharPer and longer.
  23. Lanyard, Silky, Ho 2 Ho, Throwbag and mini krab, Caritool on one side to clip things on if I get them sent up and one of them snap hook things on the other side for the same reason. I do have one of them bags to store my Lanyard in but TBH it is a PITA and fell to bits after a couple of climbs. That was 20 odd quid well spent.
  24. Mulletastic!
