    Ply is a great idea. Once you have it bought it does for roofs, windows and we have even covered green houses with it. Also lined the walls in house and put dust sheets over them to protect the decor for this dreaded through the house.

    Having used both quite extensively, I would opt for the 220 over the 190. In my not so expert opinion, It was just better to use. I am sure someone more engineering based will be able to give you answers. Although I never timed them as I am not that sad, they both filled a 7.5t truck with ease. I seem to recall less snedding for the 220.

    Can you expand on that mate pls? I was under the impression that you had to have to chain connected to the truck... at least that is what I was told years ago. Cheers.

    Cheers for the heads up. One of the guys I work for was knocked last week. During a stormy night, they cleared him of all power tools and a number of climbing kits. They also did another tree surgeon who shares the yard.

    A couple of pics from February this year. Knackered beech dismantle. Most of the tree was cut and chucked but I rigged the timber.

    How much sleep do I get? Not enough. Currently getting woken up about 3-4 times a night thanks to a teething toddler.

    I generally use the file handle to de-take the excess chrome off, sorry cannot spell de burr either.

    Might try the golf ball handle tip. Cheers, Paul. I also use a Maccy "d"s straw as a cover for the files. Stops them rubbing together and dulling.
