    What did you edit it with mate? I find the Gopro studio software for free from their site is pretty quick and easy. Good editing is definitely an art. Keep at it and you will work out ways to do it quickly. I tend to trim footage and then watch it and then trim out all the stuff that isn't action. Keeps it short and sweet. I agree with Gray Git aswell, I usually end up editing out most of the footage as one hand seems to not be on the saw it my visor is up. I take it out to avoid the smart arse comments from college boys...

    good luck Geoff. Had a few shoulder probe myself over the years but none needing ops. I have a couple of the rubber bands kicking about. Strangely the hardest one to use and therefore the toughest to stretch is bright pink. How ironic...

    Will do Ben. I just ordered one of the new RR's as well today but that isn't due in stock till March 2015. By that time I will have forgotten about the shock to the wallet and a brand new CMI RR will be on my doorstep. edit: Just checked my USPS tracking and it says it is in transit to final destination. John did you have to pay any customs charges on it?

    Jonny, he is referring the the strength of sodium lights for hydroponic systems. More commonly used in growing britains largest cash crop.

    I think what your experiencing in known as wind. Basically only engage 4x4 if you lose traction.

    If it is just from the hand ascender to a foot loop. Put the loop around your foot with you leg straight. The correct measurement approx will be at the bottom line f your chin. This means that when the leg is at 90 degrees you will be reaching up above your head but your arms won't quite be fully extended.

    A klemheist I would say is the next progression from the Prussic. Then a blakes hitch the. The HC type of system. After that just stick with whatever you want and master it.

    If it decent wood with a fragrance - why not try and sell it to people who smoke foods/meats? I remember chatting to a guy one time about the chips from the cherry he had asked us to trim. Then he asked for the chips back so he could smoke some fish. The ones he bought at the fancy food store were about 12 quid for not a lot!

    Hiab beats manual labour everyday of the week. The cost of Hiab is nearly always cheaper and more efficient, plus the lads don't break their backs shifting the timber. The job is done quicker. The check is collected quicker. The next job is done quicker. The only time I would not recommend a hiab / crane is if there is not much work on the books and three days of lumping and cleaning timber out gives your guys guaranteed work. Even then though I would still want some form of hydraulics.

    Anyone have any further information about these? A couple of mates got hold of the RR on the first release. Now they swear by them. I quite fancy a go, if anyone has one to flog or knows how to get me hands on one then give me a shout. Cheers.

    it will be in the New Year now as I am on holiday form the festive period. Joe, it uses gear but when there are 5 or 6 climbers on site you have to be productive as roads/lanes are only closed for so long. Thing is with the micro frog system or SRT setup you just leave it all on the line and retrieve it at the end. Yu could argue that you actually climb with less kit as you take a rope bag up with you, access the tree, pop in a rope guide and climbing system and then through the bag down the desired route.

    Ben it is the case with both forums. The TH has a smaller number of members contributing whereas AT moves faster due to the number of posts and members. Half the time I don't even see the good threads here as I miss them. Keeping on filming.

    Or get an access line, hand ascender and a croll. You could knock up a Microfrog system sharpish and then ascent, then switch to rope guide and climb on your usual system. That is how we do it in Norway. Lots of deadwooding. Set a load of access lines and then when you get down the next tree is ready to rock. Nice vid by the way. I have a deadwooding job on at the moments, large mature beech trees. 48 of them, 17 fells and the rest d/wooding. Was gonna do a go pro pruning vid as the trees are pretty stunning. The work is boring but it will make a change.

    Yeah, the Rab one is nice mate... you nearly didn't get it back. Me and Matteo were fighting over it. I won when I pointed out it wouldn't even fit the Italian Stallion.
