  1. Where would you suggest we buy from in the uk
  2. That looks good as a few have banged there heads on ours But suppose they will learn after a few reminders
  3. Did you buy the insert or just destroy one
  4. Do you post saws? Or where are you based
  5. Wow that's a lot of blades How many machines do you run
  6. I have always bought genuine When you look at how much we pay for a chipper and then scrimp to save a couple of quid on the bit that does all the work.
  7. Get a smaller rope You could find it so much easier and the new ropes are also more than strong enough even down to 10mm
  8. I do my own White grinding wheel and a simple jig
  9. Do those dates include assessment or is that additional days
  10. If they have kit to borrow you would be better trying the different ones before deciding which to buy

    281 chain n file

Depends on make of chain If it's stihl it's 5.2mm
  12. Where can we get xrings
  13. It's not the Tpo mans problem that none of us or the clients are organised enough to sort the work out soon enough. Certainly I would expect the tree had not suddenly got that it was a problem. I wait for consent and then do it unless it is 5 day noticeable But amazing how the trees have been like that a long time and we think they are so dodgy. Usually if they were just about to fail they would already of done Just my 2 penneth sorry
  14. I would of said ash

    Recoil spring

See told you to do it before drinking Well done
  16. See I hate the msa ones and like pelt or But certainly would not buy that helmet. But suppose that's why they sell so many as none of us can agree on anything Except the helmet haha
  17. Blisters and leg wobble And you may learn to climb trees

    Recoil spring

Mark have ago without having a drink first. It really is simple and straight forward
  19. Wish I got that long a break Or could splice that quick Looks nice though
  20. What point did I miss Was it a new machine Fully refurbed Second hand
  21. If I was spending 14k on a machine I would not be worried about cost of a belt
  22. Your a braver man than me then Or you don't know him that well Haha
  23. But using a crab in the end of the rope is not using it correctly. They did right to go nuts with you. Tbh I can tie a half hitch timber hitch quicker than messing with slings and crabs and find it quicker and simpler for groundies. Also saves problems when close to top pulley and sling been too long Practice practice practice is the way forward rather than shortcut shortcut oops
  24. They are both current and totally different Have a look at the assessment schedules. Small felling is pre requisite for emergency tree work Medium for wind blown I truly believe the wind blown is the higher one as more I depth but the emergency also deals with other bits
  25. I just wizz em off with impact gun without a piston stop Though I do have the special tool that fits in the clutch. If out on site and needed in have used Prussics rope rather than starter cord to prevent getting a bit trapped.
