  1. Nice one Bet that set the lathe a wobbling till it was balanced
  2. Try nptc website Following that you need you need to speak to an assessment centre as you need them on side so you can get work anyhow
  3. An accessory used for lifting Simple really haha
  4. Cracking job Wish I was arty enough to do that as I lack the vision
  5. Sadly not as hard now as lantra do an ita one. (Integrated training and assessment) But tbh it should be hard if you don't know enough about kit If you know kit and all that it's relatively straight forward Would suggest going on nptc site and look for assessment centres and then click on websites. Tkf training up in Yorkshire run them but that is up north
  6. On your 41 the question relating to loler is about rigging kit On your 38 it's about climbing kit
  7. Tbh I tend to charge per kit rather than per item But it's a lot cheaper than replacing the item like some folk I know do. 1 bloke I know just bins all his lifting strops every yr and buys new Luckily he was happy to give me his old ones
  8. Ppe is 6 months Non ppe like rigging is 12 months
  9. If I could have the wood I would do it for free
  10. What about a strop of some description
  11. They are lovely helmets Just the cost and the stickers put me off Buy one for your staff and see how they get on
  12. Hope you say that to your employees haha
  13. Admittedly I do loler but it is surprising how many times folk bring stuff and say I know this and that will fail I truly have seen some horrors Sometimes it's down to cash Sometimes it's down to lack of knowledge. If you were sending your stuff for loler most folk would take longer getting it ready to go than they would of spent checking it in the last yr. And if you don't spend any time then that says it all Why bother having mot on your car. Why not keep your ropes 20 yrs and your harness even longer
  14. Are they stickers that can be removed on helmet Would like to see what they look lime without the grey I would like one but I know someone would add a ser on the end
  15. Depending on what age it is they upped they pulley size as well to increase speed and draft. Had mine changed from old fans to new and pulley as well and was like a different chipper
  16. Basic 3 knot system is the only requirement then they can climb on a system of choice.
  17. No red white and blue ones yet Come on dean get them paint boys sorted
  18. 30 and 32 so are doing 31 as well
  19. Get a wife that earns plenty Problem solved
  20. As long as it's to assist and you use wedges to prevent it going back And all depends on usage and storage as well really
  21. Just to clarify that's not the best way Double Fishermans is generally accepted as best
  22. But 14mm double braid is stronger than that. Just retired my 16mm double esterlon due to age and plan on using that for pulling trees mbs 7.5 kn Just also remember most winches are rated 1.6 ton lift and 2.4 pull Obviously depends which so have a look in manual
  23. Sorted Well done
  24. I got a lot out of the professional tree inspectors course and 9 on my course were utility surveyors Only 3 days so not too bad but not cheap IMO
