I find a match sorts it out for ever
  7. We have done ours In reality it is 8hrs per yr Or at least it would of been if you had not ignored it for the last 5 yrs One of the days was first aid so 2 birds at one sitting Pick your units carefully as some are very dull. Record was 1 guy fell asleep 5 times in the same day
  8. Presume there is a hydraulic blow off valve? Is this adjustable?
  9. If I could leave all the wood in big lumps it would be cheaper Or even better leave it all in 1 lump still stood up haha Tbh not a lot of money in wood I would happily take it away but the cost of loading it on to my truck and then delivering it to someone for let's say £50 Save my back save diesel save £50 To take it. Back to yard again Store it for a yr Chop it all up Load it back on For let's say £100 That's really £50 per move and personally I am not that interested
  10. I would not accept it. However it should be to the same standard I believe it is more aimed at use on building sites I would certainly ask for course content and course duration
  11. Type c really You may be able to use that justification in the middle of summer but are you also going to say no helmet or sandals Ultimately it's down to justification But .....
  12. I want one of them dean Do I need to buy another chipper to get them
  13. Looks slightly bigger than I can afford at the moment. Does it come turntable hahaha
  14. Shame I am so far away I would just give you full access to everything for free as your obviously talented and I would preference wood to be used rather than rot or burn. Try to find a couple of local tree bods or even what does your local council do with all there wood
  15. We seem to spend a lot of time banging on about bearings. We have fitted them on lots of different machines but tbh not really an issue when you look at other issues with chippers Ie this week waiting for a engineer to look at two hitch issues on a brand new chipper. Got let done so rearranged Turned up late Did not have the correct parts Meanwhile I am hiring extra vehicles paying staff time to keep meeting them. Another chipper manufacturer took 6 weeks to get a new stop bar made and we could not use the machine for all that time. Another machine had 5 gearboxes in its first 2 yrs Each costing more than 4 bearing changes and waited 1 week each time as they don't stock em. Backup and local is much more important
  16. Cut tree for money sometimes
  17. Well I think you should punish him with a good whipping Every Saturday for the rest of his life And if does it again you should use you wildest imagination for a suitable punishment
  18. Keep your receipts and you don't need it testing for 6 months if it's all new. Personally it's often worth doing the chainsaw from a rope and harness attached to your climbing training so you can actually go out and be more use than someone that can only really use a hand saw or do aerial rescue. In reality even if you pass you will not be proficient enough to be a proper rescue climber. I would only count you as a rescue climber when you have earned your stripes and a competent climber
  19. Dependant on thickness obviously just slabbed straight down the middle is usually best for a turner Also bear in mind they usually preference the bowl or horrible knotty bits rather than the pice plain stuff

    sciatica

I was diagnosed with it yrs ago and 10 yrs later they finally found out what was wrong with me. Sadly worse than sciatica but beware many folk get told they have sciatica just as it's a general symptom. If it continues try to get them to test it further. Certainly wish I had done as would not be as advanced if proper treatment had started 10 yrs ago.
  22. Click bottom right I think it was and it says Open in safari Then it works Might have been top right I can't remember I'm on iPad
  23. Loler Afags Good climbing guide which although is not legislation it would be referred to in a court of law 3 way auto locking is the requirement How they lock is optional
  24. I have and use both and personally I prefer the sj but know loads of folk that prefer the lock jack. I have leant them both out and most seem to end up going for the Lj I also think if you tried the lock jack first you would prefer it and same with the sj Very similar in a lot of ways IMO
