  1. you had a petrol skate board...... cool
  2. that helps thank you... this pile has been dumped around 50 yards from my house. the smell prevents us from hanging washing out to dry as it permeates the baby clothes... we cannot have the windows or doors open despite the fantastic weather we are having... and after speaking to one of the farm workers, it seems there may be another 200 tonnes to come along, with no plans to do anything with it. Who is best to contact?? environmental health, defra or env agency??
  3. i seem to remember a thread regarding storage of manure near housing... i cant find it, despite searching... can anyone point me in the right direction please. it might save me fighting with a local farmer lol.
  4. congrats, enjoy the journey.
  5. does this mean we are getting "arbtalk" the magazine??????
  6. i saw this today but couldnt decide whether it was cobwebs or snail trail.
  7. i think there is a duty to yourself and others to report this type of behaviour. he could do this to someone with a weak heart and tip them over the edge without laying a finger on them... follow it up, usually the police do their bit but are let down by the courts.... keep it all above board and legal and take the higher moral ground.
  8. i have these which i hope to restore one day when time is available.
  9. the other issue with the discoveries is the change of law meaning you cant transport kids in the side facing rear seats anymore. the later models have front facing ones, but only TD5 onwards i think.
  10. i would go with lifting the slabs if they are so poorly laid... if its not a long stretch, it'll not take too long to re lay em afterwards.
  11. congrats to you both, enjoy the ride, my first 6 months as a Dad have flown by.....
  12. i love some of those translations, particularly the one for the folding knife with leather case...

  14. at the moment i'm burning all the little scabby bits that are left over when you split by axe. almost all of my seasoned wood has gone. not sure what i'm gonna do if we have another cold spell.

  16. we have a road like that in one of the villages just outside lincoln. i've done a couple of jobs near it, but never had to use it for access.
  17. pastry top hat for bunny will cure the apple tree issues. shame to waste a good rabbit by not eating it!
  18. no, they dont trust us with anything as sharp as a biro.
  19. i guess that would fit in with the tree being removed due to dutch elm disease then.......
  20. sorry about picture quality, but can anyone advise what the dark lines are in the rings if this section?
  21. just stick the van body on the top of a G wagon chassis???
  22. here's one i did earlier
  23. the only issue i can see with this is the wheel arches. will they not retain some of the material when tipping? otherwise a great idea to keep the original lines of the vehicle.
  24. too bloody warm for me in a heated glasshouse. i was worried about falling into the pond too, some of those Koi could have swallowed me whole!
