  1. Hey all just again a massive thanks for the offers of woodchippers saws and kit . To any one in south Cambs beds north herts be on the look out for a black mondeo estate it was a p reg but we think these plates where false. I'm still trying to get my head around the fact they knew exactly what to go for and where things where. This is what was on the chipper. The floor chain on axle. Saw and kit bins burnt through Some how they managed to move a tractor with no battery and the winch dropped out of the way in front of two bollards. Removed the gate at the entrance. Smashed the CCTV security lights and the lock on the front of the shed. Luckily I had stashed 3 saws on a different site but no lids one was 4 days old and I had changed the chipper blades the night before I'm really annoyed I had not taken my climbing kit home with me as there was a lot of stuff I had picked up at shows I can't find receipts for now. All in all this has been a massive kick in the balls and I'm finding it hard at the minute to find any motivation to carry on with my company despite every thing work wise and financially better than it has been, these scum are watching me sitting out side my house and following me to my work shop , following us to jobs and back to the work shop, if you chase them they disappear , the police won't do a thing and it seems like it won't end here. Any ideas tips for security please pm me . Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  8. Yeah I remember that one , I'm just curious if tree guys have had them go or the chippers stolen.. My thought at the moment is they are a lot less desirable than a road tow chipper or an Ali sided landrover. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. Has any body heard or had a mog stolen?? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

    Axe men

The timber is all old growth so has tighter rings and much sought after by craftsmen I've heard is another reason. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. Reading up the dolmar 9010 is lighter than the 461 and about the same as the 576 and more power than both... And cheaper , so it seems a no brainer so far... But ed your comparison on it with the 576 is what I'm waiting for... The only dislike I can see with the 9010 is the limited ignition module and its a tiny bit heavier than the legendary 9000 it replaced that revs out higher but the 9010 does have a stronger crank. There is a guy still selling 9000's on eBay. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. Is it not more of a saw in the 576-460 Class.. That's the only reason I'm looking at them. How would you put it against your 576. ? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. I always was under the assumption they came in one size length when new, I have always had to cut the length down to suit the tractor. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  15. Be careful not to damage/ring bark the trees if you decide to remove, its easy to damage and kill mature trees. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. Any moth holes in the bases?? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. Pull it in to 2 and bring out the hack saw!!! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. I disagree, for the user its good the power and torque is unstoppable on the husky ones any way ..people just don't like change ! Can't speak for the stihl m Tronic saws though and I wouldn't buy a stihl any way. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. I'm using a 395 on a 36" bar for milling it is ok ,a little sluggish in hard woods and have not had many trees that won't fit and needed ripping .. You will not get a 36" cut though probably more around 28 as the felling dogs get in the way and the mill has to be mounted about2- 3" under from the top bar sprocket or it will pinch it up. 20. Just replaced the crank gasket on my 560 and recon if it was not for the auto tune it would of wrote off the piston and cylinder. I have read before auto tune can prevent massive failure from air leaks and can definitely say that's the case now... Won't prevent bearings failing though I suppose. 21. I only have to buy one reel of chain to do all the ground saws ... That's the only reason really... And its on a 15" bar so makes no difference I think tbh. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. The last run they made of them they upped the cc and made a few changes on the weak spots of the saw but from its start as the 335 it was regarded as a bit of a disaster that husky never really got over, hence why the had to get the t540 spot on , I didn't mind it as a saw but still picked up the 200t over it. The later model is on the left so will be worth more. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. Clarkes ,Justin's or rob d will have a bar. Mine runs 3/8 and never had a problem finding a bar. They get better old mill once ran in. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  24. From my experience looking at saws that have had problems it's when normal chain oil is mixed with bio or cooking oil substitutes it congeals in to a mess that causes problems. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  25. No never cleaned a saw for that reason or emptied it for storage, I picked up a 200t that hasn't been used for 8 months and it oiled fine.. Been using clarkes but also stihl or any thing else I could get my hands on really. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
