  1. at £1000 a day you don't need to win every quote do you. i win a high percentage of jobs i want, it depends who i'm pricing against though. 2 sayings i like are "why be cheap when you can be expensive" and "do less, charge more"

  12. couldn't agree more, they are 1 step up from traffic wardens in my book. they are just a cheap way of putting more "officers" on the beat. the fact is they can't do anything there.
  13. the police were probably too busy trying to catch real criminals, people speeding or being 3 days out of tax. you can't make revenue catching a gun man can you?
  14. i know of a fractometer for sale if you are interested. should be pretty cheep and only used a couple of times
  15. i'd throw a party, buy a few more shotguns or if i had more room and time another gundog
  16. try pigeonwatch forums, you get quite a few decent second hand guns on there.
  17. they normally only come out to lads shooting rabbits and pigeon on their permissions round my way. it is tragic and my thoughts go out to the friends and families. i have to agree with arbclimber though. i hope this doesn't make things hard for all the responsible gun owners out there.
  18. ive seen a lad throw a husky 394 with 30 inch bar out of the tree before! it wouldn't tick over apparently, it wasn't even his saw.
  19. so tree health and good pruning can go out the window when every one needs work????? i personally couldn't care less about the tree in question, but i thought you were supposed to have very high standards?
