  1. I love the 560 but it's ergonomics are designed for limbing & it feels long & awkward aloft.
  2. Nice job on some big nasty trees
  3. moose - they were not driving either
  4. You have confirmed that there is no legal reason not to fell the tree?(in writing is always good) If so what are you waiting for?
  5. Should years of life & experience not teach basic manners? Not a hard lesson to learn
  6. It's not about the subject of the thread, more how is in conducted. Criticism, no matter how harsh, can be constructive.
  7. Cool, another thread about people who have not had time to learn the industry. Are you going to belittle & critique them in a new unusual manner?
  8. Well done Dave
  9. People need to be more realistic about what they expect to earn. We are skilled - yes, but there is only so much money in treework. The tree can stay in the garden for another year, but a boiler or roof need fixing asap
  10. Your rates are too high at the top end for someone with only a couple of years experience don't you think? This is tree work not working for a law firm
  11. Education as you said David. It has to be community & school lead, as there parents probably have the same omissions in theres
  12. Fantastic - efficiently violent, fit & toughened up chav scum. Just what we need - NOT
  13. I thought the Tunissien brand was a cheaper spin-off of the Schliesing? The TS in the model standing for the old Tunissien- Schliesing brand I presume
  14. How many people would approach a load of chav scum with pitbulls? (& the police would recieve a non priority call) It's how things are & they are not going to improve any time
  15. Great saw - I've not had an issue with mine.
  16. Done. Enjoy the walk Dave
  17. That's rubbish Jim. Hope it's not too bad
  18. That's rubbish Jim. Hope it's not too bad
  19. That's rubbish Jim. Hope it's not too bad
  20. Great footage from a challenging environment. Good job
  21. I'm around at the APF on thursday & possibly friday morning, & if anyone wants a look I will put it in my bag
  22. A quick bit of feed-back on the H-H; The system itself is a joy to use & tends & switches from ascent to descent seamlessly. It fuctions well both with a single line & when used with traditional dDrt. The major negatives at this moment are my flounderings with my attempts to learn srt climbing. I look like a three legged rino learning ballet at best I will come back & post a serious & more comprehensive warts & all review in a month or so. Hopefully my skills will allow me to objectively test this bit of kit by then
  23. Where are you based Old Man, & do you have a web-site? It would help steer those interested towards you
  24. Good work can increase the life of a saw. This is because, after opening up the muffler they run cooler.
