  1. Apart from snatching big timber it sounds like it will take a good workout (big timber kills everything)
  2. If the winch is the same size, is your mounting plate too small? Not trying to be negative, just what springs to mind
  3. Cool. Have you considered a fair-lead to ensure the smooth feeding of the rope onto the winch? What are you using to attach it to the tree?
  4. Used 2. first impressive, 2nd very poor. Depends on the construction. Every bit of kit commences being "home-made"
  5. Nice job Mr Haine
  6. Some people appreciate constructive criticism, other think there above it & attract negative comments. Which they ignore of course, ending dialog & pouring a thread into the gutter
  7. Whippet pups are so funny. All legs. I love it when they learn to run fast, but not stop or turn
  8. It must have all ended in Oz & NZ by now
  9. Great job & some very nice iron
  10. Have you retuned it? They are garbage when not run spot-on
  11. +3 to what Scotspine said
  12. Done it
  13. Bear
  14. I love telling the local low-life that it's to improve lines of sight for CCTV
  15. What Mog said. I'd not be happy to splice both ends of tachyon
  16. Fair size tree, looks like a proper job Do you not wear spikes on dismantles?
  17. How does the price compare?
  18. Massive tree -but some horrendous & dangerous crane work. Think it's been posted here before
  19. £500 per year with a wood burner heating downstairs in a 2 bed end terrace. (We have the heating on minimal for winter & top the heat up with the burner)
  20. Big girl On a serious note, they are a little louder, but the performance is a big improvement & I find the note of a 560xp as loud if not more so
  21. Heated handles are great. 660 needs the dual port muffler - then it really does come alive
  22. LOLER has dragged the standard of kit in usage by arbs forward than anything else. If you look for negatives you can always find them!
  23. What happens when she fails it Andy?
  24. I think it's a minimum of 5.
