That's about the strength of it, everyone topping up for £15 and the guys on empty can't get feck all.

Wazzocks!

I had to queue for 10 minutes and just squeezed 10 litres in but the trip odometer said I only had 10 miles left,  wish the bike had a bigger tank.

It make a lot of sense, people queuing and blocking up roads just to top up car and it will probably sit in drive for the rest of the week apart from popping  kids to school just down the road with in walking distance.

If I were a shell manager I would stick a penny a litre on, make hay while the sun shines.

Keep the price just low enough to keep the pumps fully utilised and watch what the competition do.

Proper supply and demand economics.

The firm EG (Euro Garages) based up here have stations nationwide, have just announced a £30 limit. Could well pass onto Asda petrol stations aswell as the same people bought it from Walmart

It was the BP Manage that started the ball rolling.

Didn't realise BP had done it. Only knew about this as there is a lot of their garages round here with being based in Blackburn. They seem to vary the brand of fuel depending on the station.
