Years before that there was a junior gynaecology doc called Dr Overy, and when I was a young obs/gynae doc when training for GP I had a colleague called Dr Dick!!!

Yes these are all true as well.

I was at school with a lad whose dad was a dentist called Pickett.  I recently had bloods done by a nurse surnamed Slaughter.

My old man had to go for a prostate exam... to be performed by a dr. Rogers. I saw the funny side. He didn't.

There seems to be a theme here..

 

On a different note, but along similar lines Roger Rabbitte is a local lettuce grower.(he grows a variety of veggies, but lettuce is genuinely one of his main crops)

Ive been going to chiropractors for about 5 years now. Personally I find them great! I come out of a good 'crunch' like Im floating on air, lasts a day or two before just feel normal then a week or so later Im starting to feel like I should go back. I go every month and weekly when its bad.
