How are the veggies coming along?

Lost some courgettes and had the tips burned off the top of the potatoes with frost a couple of weeks back in the tunnel.. would not surprise me if we got a frost now still , had snow a few years back late may.
Have found using firewood processor saw dust from hard woods makes a good mulch in the poly tunnel though and means it only has to be watered 2-3 times a week as it holds in moisture around the plants and means I’m not weeding it every other day too.

Had the first courgettes, tomatoes, lettuces and the cucumbers have been the stars of the crop, had around 6 so far, small ones but really good flavour. Got the runners beginning to form beans now, won't be long!

Not strictly veggies, but we trapped a wild swarm a couple of weeks ago and decided to transfer them to a spare hive and put it in our green manure of phacelia.
They seem happy with the short commute! Must take a few pics of the veggies, they're coming on nicely since they finally got some rain.

I grew Phacelia once as a green manure and remember how it just hummed with pollinating insects; they really go for it.

The previously thriving Peach tree died this spring, it looked like some sort of club root disease when I oh so easily and effortlessly  finally pulled it out of the ground, very dissapointed seeing as this past 2 years it had been doing so well. 

But da da, wor first grapes, near ripe too, since I tried one yesterday.

I confess that I am too lazy or disorganised to garden or grow vegetables, some day perhaps  .  .  .

Absolutely. We will definitely grow it again, I've never seen such variation of pollinators on one plant before.
