  2. Maybe re-phrase my question. I was once roadside on a busy 'B' road just out of town. Large signs and bright landscaping caught clients eyes. I felt it really helped raise the businesses profile, credibility even and bring in alot of work. That was the past. Since I restarted in 2018, I've been near invisible except for Google. Tucked away on a housing estate, low profile so not to upset the neighbours. My turnover long since hit a ceiling that seems strangely difficult to break through. So, I am reaching out to ask if others have moved their businesses to a more public location and found turnover (profit hopefully) increased as a result of the exposure despite extra costs in rent. 3. Weird - he came on my youtube feed last night, another of the greats.
  4. Credit where it's due, it was a fine peice of prose. I haven't had an erection worth mentioning since i posted that compliment. Possibly a coincidence, but I won't be taking that chance.
  5. If you need through put go up to a 8 inch machine, Conifer will block any chipper up if chipper is blunt and revs drop a little, slack drive belts will cause it as well. Demo all machines and then choose.

  7. I forgot mention as a "note": If I add a piece of wood "bigger than usual" when the stove is almost hot enough(hand as a thermometer) , one can overheat the stove with dry oak!!! Especially if it's a small metal stove! Ceramic tile stoves are big enough to soak up excess heat even if coal is used, but even these stoves(or 1-2 tons masonry stoves used in Russia) can overheat with dry hard type wood or high power coal if added too much when the stove is close to its heat absorbing capacity! Because it burns slower than other species of hardwood its deceiving for "amateurs"! Best to add smaller pieces of wood when using oak until you know what's what... I too got deceived by coal briquettes and overheated the other ceramic tile stove wich is twice as big as this one in video! Wood briquettes are nicer ,not so vicious as coal briquettes. But dry oak can cause problems if your stove is small and you added too much at once! I've yet to try petroleum coke 🙄😁 One day ,I will 😎

  9. Ebay for manuals or agri manuals? They might have something similar , could you even have shorted a fuse ?
  10. Looking at an oak today, noticed this fungi on a buttress root. When touched, there were visible white spores released. Looks like they are well past their best, is it possible to identify them from the photo? Photo of the whole tree, its the closer one.
  11. Myself and @Mark Bolam sounding like a broken record……. Kirkland commercial truck bodies in Stoke. About 1:45 from Sheffield- 01782 327700

Possibly purposeful. Anyone who spotted it will soon be approached by a man with an umbrella, who remarks that the pigeons in Alexanderplatz are hungry this year.

  14. Morning all, Small local job this morning, should be fairly quick. Just as well by the look of the sky.
  15. You should check the numbers stamped on the side of the existing bearing or the race. Most Timberwolf 125 trailers from that year use standard AL-KO or Knott axles, but the sizes can vary.
  16. One has to ponder, if ai has taken lyrics, in this case from 50 cent, who I agree is quite the wordsmith, and simply rehashed it perfectly into another musical genre or style, and done it very well, how is it we don't get the same level of expertise? instead of the same pathetic loop of nonsense that doesn't address any problem associated with a simple courier delivery. I'm not sure giving a glorified synthesiser endless powers to manipulate and infect other avenues of humanity is a good thing.

  19. Pipe has been shortened but a 12oz does not fit well in 38mm pipe, it really wants to be the less common 42mm pipe. Instead I'm 3d printing the tube. Looking at a tree tomorrow and hopefully suitable to test it out. hmm?
  20. Just like an unusually healthy, well-grown, dense, hawthorn hedge should do ! AND even better for nesting birds, small mamals and invertebrates. ALSO, highly resistant to straying livestock, humans and out-of-control cars, etc -I can report a Land-rover Discovery was impaled up on my (layed) roadside hedge, and was unable to get out, until my neighbour arrived with his chainsaw and massacred the hedge ! 🤨
  21. A bastardisation of a 50 cent hip hop album called get rich or die trying. Ran through an AI song generator in a 50/60’soul style. Sounds amazing and makes you realise that 50 cent was actually quite the wordsmith.
  22. Here, they will give you a clean beer glass, but soft drinks from a can or bottle you can keep it - suspect it is the danger of everyone getting monkey pox
  23. Same the world over though, young and keen can get the job done through energy alone, age and slowing down but years of experience can get the job done just as quick - all physical professions really - but there is a point in them all where the body has slowed down too much to make you - was going to say 'profitable' for want of a better word... but that point is different for us all.
